Easy Forever ~ Treasure Forever ~ And Come Fly With Us, Sammy

Yesterday we heard the sad news that dear Easy had to go to doggy heaven,  Easy was loved and well known in our blogging circles, though we have to admit, we did not know him that well ourselves...mores the pity. We know he will be greatly missed and grieved by all who knew and loved him. Rest well, Easy and then be a strong healthy Angel.

We also heard that another furry loved one had to go to the RB, too.
Treasure from Mickey's Musings made his journey after a very long loved life, which nevfurtheless was still too short.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today we are taking another kitty to visit us in our city of Battle Creek, Michigan, USA.
He is in a traveling balloon, so how appawpurriate it that!We are the home of the annual International Balloon Festival and Field of Flight. So we will take Sammy there to show him some of what goes on there.
Don't you just love this quaint little sign? MOL!
In  a nutshell, this is the banner to promote this fun event.
There are always lots of people there and at the right time of day...and weather permitting, lots of hot air balloons.
This is 'Ally Cat'!
It came and landed close to where we were sitting to watch.
Battle Creek is not only known for Kellogg's, but also for Post...and this is Sugar Bear!
When the sun goes down the balloons are lit up, that is quite the spectacle!
Of course there is also a 'midway' complete with lots of rides. They are lit up at night.
Daytime view...
And the Thunderbirds come there too. They are not called Thunderbirds for nothing...bring your earmuffs or plugs...This one was on display and you could see it up close.Our pawppy is checking it out, in the white shirt.
Look at all the places this airplane has been, Sammy! Wow!
Here they are all lined up, taking a rest.
Looky here! These look like Smoke and Joe, MOL!!
There were even flying motorbikes, OMC!
And giant sized beverages for the thirsty crowds...
Some of those Thunderbirds in performance.
Wouldn't you love to fly in one of them?
There they go!
Then at dusk the sky is not done yet with flighty things...like these fireworks! Wowee! Boomers all the way!
After all that noise and excitement, come and relax in our garden for a while...
We have heard today, after we started this posting that Sammy decided to fly away to the heavenly realm of angels earlier today. How sad and lonely his peeps will be, we send them and also Easy and Treasure's peeps, lots of hugs and comforting purrs...and some good MJF licks and soft woofs.
Fly well, all you new beautiful angels, we are here upon the earth sending purrs to all who are now so sad...
  3. Wow, that was some tour for Sammy. Hope he brought his earplugs or you had an extra pair.
    It is so sad to lose Easy before the tour he helped create, but the timing was right to give Sammy a big farewell.
  9. Oh you are so lucky to have a balloon fest right in your own city. I am sure Sammy loved seeing it. What fun. We enjoyed your pictures and love seeing an occasional one fly around our city. That's interesting that your Petacary had heard of the Packers before coming here. M & D used to take a cruise once a year for about 8 years and they met so many people on the ship from other countries and they would comment on D's Packer cap or shirt.
