 We were minding our own business and sharing a nap, when *she' came by and wanted us to take selfies...all she got was a scornful why now look. LOL!

We can't even snooze together and she puts that little black thing up close...

Other than a new dump of snow, our week was pretty calm...no intruders...other than the Chewy delivery man...so we don't call that an intruder...he keeps us in our noms...and toys which we shall show you soon...those ones are special and *she* in no way will allow Benji...or me to rip them up. BOL!

By the way, since March 2 is Dr Seuss' Birthday, petcretary looked high and low for the little Cat in the Hat  top-hats that she got from our friend, Miss Ellen...but she has NO idea where they got stashed...anyways, Miss Ellen sent us the pattern, so she could make 2 more...here is a picture of the ones she made last week, just in time...each one took about 2 1/2 hours to make.

Also this past Monday the 21st, petcretary was offered a 'Wine and Canvas' class at her workplace. She was off, and it was free, so off she went...here is what she painted. It was a mentored/guided painting class, and we all tried to 'copy' the sample as given by the teacher, and she had a finished one and made a 'repeat' of it to show us what to do. t was kind  of fun! Esp to be at work, but not be at work, LOL!

Busted Innocent Pups!

We have had our share of way too much snow lately...about 9 inches last week, another 4-6 on Wed/Thurs, and Saturday in the wee hours, before we got up we had an other 3 inches or so. Lots of noisy snow thrower work, and also some sore muscles from the shovel work needed to clear where the snow thrower can't reach. At least if the forecasts are correct, we should have a couple of semi-spring teaser days before going back to winter again.

The birds at our feeders are voracious and the starlings are like piggies...they steal all the food and scare away the smaller pretty birds...The bluebirds love mealworms and that is what those starlings are going for...of course its the most expensive food we feed our feathered friends...at least they can't get at the suet feeder, because only woodpeckers and other clinging birds can access the upside-down feeder! They can't get the peanuts in the peanut feeder, again, ts only for clinging birds, they can easily get them...such as Chickadees, Nuthatches, Tufted titmouse, and all the woodpeckers.

There is a large bin feeder with a closing perch, that stops big birds and squirrels...and we have a tube feeder with collapsing perches for the same purpose. Maybe we need another for the mealworms!

Well,  you can tell by the title that there were gremlins in our den recently...or a Not Me!

Its winter; and when its cold and snowy outside and petcretary and pawppy are at their jobs we get bored...esp Benji...

So a bit ago, this is what petcretary came home to:

After she gathered up the mess, I snagged Dalton's monkey dude and destuffed it some more...I was busted with the evidence in my mouth!

On Feb 15th, at The Tuesday Teaser, petcretary sent in this image as a guest teaser. No one was able to guess it, though a few had the right country. It even took petcretary a lot of hours to find the village in the background, even though she knew the region. and the name of the river, LOL! (Petcretary's cousins took this picture and allowed her to send it to the Teaser.)

As Quoted by the Teaser Graphics Dept:   'This photo was taken by one of Ingrid’s relatives and it is the beautiful village of Serrig on the River Saar, Saarland, Germany.     We did have several guesses in Germany so good for those of you who got that much right!    My own Mom said it reminds her a lot of her river cruise with my Dad on the Rhine River some years ago.'

MrJackFreckles was a good sport when it came to posing, so we have included some of his Valentine's images, its always nice to look back...even to 2012, which is before we had our blog!

Minko And Pipo were both 'Gotted' on the same day, Feb 14th, 2005.

What better day than the day of love to give two kitties their loving forever homes:). We had not planned it that way, it just sort of happened, but well, it was the best thing that ever happened to those two! How we miss all three of our Angels...

Anyways, in no particular order, are pics for Valentine's Day, and Gotcha Day images for both of them. Some go back to 2012; one from 2005...

For some reason I cannot find Gotcha Day 'cards' other than Pipo's. No idea where Minko's are hiding. All the ones I did find are corrupted images because they were sent to me via photobucket, and so they do not work as proper images anymore, sadly enough. Oh, well...

Flashback Valentine's Day Selfies

 Other than some more snow, we haven't had much upheavals in our week, Phew!

Petcretary went to the dentist and was relieved tat this time she did not need to go back...as she seems to be the only one in our human family who ever helps the dentist pay his own bills, LOL!

Petcretary is working this weekend, so we are letting her do a flashback set of Selfies, with a Valentine's Day theme...from 2020.

We will try to have another post up tomorrow, for Valentine's Day...that was also Angels Minko & Pipo's  Gotcha day...so we will try to focus on that, more or less.

Meanwhile, here are our flashback Valentines for you, our friends!

This past Tuesday at 'Tuesday Teaser Class, Petcretary was one of three, first to enter the classroom, along with Sharon and Csilla. Then she spent a good hour hunting all over the web obscurities to try and find where the teaser picture was taken. She almost gave up, but then she suddenly found something she thought might be it, so she researched that lead/clue, and soon she had it right...It was Ocean Beach in San Fransisco, California, USA. Whoot!
