We went to a football 'party' at our local pet shop.
It was kind of a letdown...but we did have fun sniffing all we could reach, and there were lot of peeps in there who gave us pets, yup, even Dalton! And Dogs! OMD, there were so many. Benji arood at some of them...his hello aroo...but we didn't get to play/sniff/greet with them. Would you believe, petcretary turned around and went down a different aisle??! (*She* didn't want to have us change our minds about those other pups and get all growly, or them...)
Anypaws, there were treats available, sadly we didn't get to have any as we do not nibble on anything with wheat...sheesh! Petcretary tossed a football into the hole and we got two bandanas, and two footballs, though the neck gear has advertising on it as well as the footballs...sigh...so then we went into the back room where they were having a kitten adoption event! Some of those kittens hissed us, BOL! Some watched us carefully with bottlebrush tails as if to ask, who/what are those creatures?? BOL! There were kittens in all kinds of colors and markings...all cuter than cute...sorry *she* was holding our leashes tightly, so no pictures of any of them...alas no meezers among them. She wouldn't do that would she?? (She says she would be very tempted, BOL!)
Then we got back in the car, and headed home for better treats than were offered...
And it was a nice day, a bit humid, but the temps were only in the mid to high seventies. Friday it poured buckets in the morning.but Saturday was just cloudy. After we got back home, we woofed the neighbors and their dogs on both sides, and then we watched petcretary mow the lawn. It was quite thick and tall, from all the rains we've had since the last mowing.
We hope everyone is OK after all the bad weather that was in various places in the past few days. We only had 'regular' storms, just lots of thunder and lightning, but no terrible winds or hail or tornadoes ar flooding.
Friday, blogger decided to go all wonky and no one could make comments on blogger blogs, but thankfully it seems to have been fixed. If that happens again, we have a word press blog which id a duplicate of this one, so you can comment there, There is a link to it in the sidebar...and at the bottom of this page too.
