In Memory of Indigo

 Recently, Indigo, one of the cats at I Have Three Cats was not eating well, and was also showing other health issues. She became quite ill on Friday, and so was helped to go across the Rainbow Bridge, now she's all well and healthy again.

This memento was made in her honor.

Happy Father's Day To Our Pawppy!

 

Today is Father's Day, we love our dad...aka Pawppy, so we spent some time with him...but of course!

We forgive petcretary for not making a special card...we thought being with pawppy was a better idea anyways, BOL

But first we had to 'dress up' in manly bow ties and fedoras...

Then Pawppy came outside and we gifted him with ourselves on his lap...Dalton wasn't too sure about that part, but because Petcrerary was there he did OK.

Nope, I did NOT fall off...

We hope all Father's; biological or otherwise, being a father figure, will be greeted lovingly today, Father's and or their standins are very important to those they have fathered or assume the fatherly role of.

Jethro, the beloved Bengal kitty of Ananka at Ananka's Photos, had to fly off to the Rainbow Bridge, he had just celebrated his 16th birthday. This is the first kitty loss for her, so if you haven't already done so, please visit there and leave your comforting message.

A Birthday & Flag Day

 Wednesday and Thursday evenings we had a lot of very bad weather in our area. Lots of power outages and even a tornado in one village. Not too close, thankfully. One town south of us has so many trees in their streets wound up in power wires...that the safety peeps requested peeps stay home, and the power outs there may not be all fixed until later this week, Wow! If you look at a power outage map, that whole area is covered in colored sections...meaning that is where the power is out. From hurricane force winds...wow the weather is angry around here for some reason.

Petcretary is in the midst of a resurge of Mono, (EpsteinBarrVirus), not sure what brought this on, but she has awful headaches,  just like the last two times this happened. Makes her feel wishy washy and at times she breaks out in a sweat from doing nothing...so she'll just lay low for several more days and gradually it subsides...she hopes. That is what it did the last two times. (Which were in 2011,  and 2013...)

Yesterday was Pawppy's birthday! So we sent him these greetings... 

The unfurbros took him and petcretary out to dinner, yum! But they did not bring home any doggy bags for us...Booo. Maybe we will get some extra doggy treats instead! We can hope right?!

And it is also Flag Day today. 🇺🇸 We hope if you have a flag that it's proudly flying, weather permitting.

After Birthday Selfies

 Yup, Benji is now at the beginning of his ninth year, BOL!!

We took a ride over to the pet shop, which usually is a place to score fun and treats.

Well, there was a kitten adoption event...and plenty of cats too, and there were doggies there too, with their peeps, shopping for doggy things...but the so called pawrty was nothing but a table with advertising and goody bags...no photo taking set up, no pup cups, and well, we were sort of bored in there. Even if *she* bought Benji a new toy, bags of treats and food for both of us. Oh well, we did get lots of pets from employees and customers so it wasn't too much of a lost cause. At least we didn't have to wear any hats in there, not even our bandanas!! That is a score for us!! BOL!

Since we no longer have any kitties, we missed Hug Your Cat Day, so here is a flashback of a hug with petcretary and Pipo & Minko...apparently being outside and getting hugged was not to their liking, tee-hee...we sure miss those two...and all our other angels...

Benji Is Eight, Today!

Happy Birthday wishes to Benji; today he is eight! Wow, it doesn't seem that long ago that he came into our family, as a 6 month old puppy...

But it's true, time flies and now he is eight years old, we mean young! 

Yesterday in preparation for his big day, he dug two huge holes in the back woods area...uncovering the roots of a maple tree, and starting another project beside that one. He came into the house all covered in mud as it has rained here...then Dalton came in, ands he had mud splatters all over his back, we think he had been snoopervising the digging and got splattered, BOL! Two dirty pups...you all know the rest!

Oh well, hopefully the pepper spread over those places will divert attention to other things. 

Later today, we will go to the pet store, they are having a summertime pawrty, what fun timing! He'll get extra treats and pets...as will Dalton, but of course!
