Dogster is shutting down its doors and all of us pups will be locked out of our Community forevfur. Grrr. This makes me both sad and angry. And compelled to copy down as much as I can before this wonderful place dies. It will nevfur be furgotten, it was a fun place and a safe place to gather, woof and have lots of fun. Even in the hard times we were always helped by our pals and we supported others, too as best we knew how. I know growlmy made a lot of pictures when furs had spawsial days, they were my gifts to them:) She will miss that, and of course so will I. I will miss doing my diary and having comments, though I do have this blog to do that in. Its a good place too, this Bloggerland as I like to call it:)

I am a very large 'super sized' terrorist. 3 inches over the standard.
25 pounds of pure hard muscle. I love to be a couch potato when the daily chores of guarding my people are over.
I love to roll on my back to give it a good rubbing. This is my favorite thing to do after my mommy takes my doggy coat off on a cold day, or when I am wet.
My very long legs are good pogo sticks for jumping.
My mommy had to put up a 6 foot tall fence, (which is buried one foot underground) all the way around my 1 acre yard to keep me safely in after she installed doggy doors for me. Yeah! No more tie out leash.
I love to 'hunt' in the woodsy area in back of the yard and dig in the huge pile of logs sticks and yard waste.

Barking and digging and guarding us from felines, ours and the neighbors.

Touching my feet, and being disturbed from a sleep;Being wet, Wearing my winter coat, getting in the car, but I don't mind the rides...go figure!

when i am like this, I start 'doing the slide' and then I will get up
and run! I am on my back for belly rubs too a lot, but not from this
position...right now I am just sleeping under growlmy's chair as she
types...boring!
When
my mommy is at the catputer I lay on my back and then slowly wiggle
myself under her foot and she will start moving her foot rubbing my
belly. It usually takes 5-10 minutes for her to figure out what I did.

You were there longer than that I think. I'm so glad we found you there. That's one of the things that made it so special, aye??

ReplyDeleteWe just took all our things that were in Dogster/Catster and saved them to our blog, because in a few days they are going to shut down the community pages on those sites. Booo. (It is like they *are* throwing all of us away. There are thousands of web pages there, there are broken links unfixed, and too broken to be easily fixed...and so on...but there were still many faithful and active members who like us just found ways to wade through all the brokenness...I am afterall a tenacious terrier, BOL! We sure are going to be missing that place...and there is much sadness among all the members who have been there, some since the beginning, way before we found out about it.
We also are members in some other web sites, but somehow this blogging seems to be the best way for me and all my furends to stay together.
Don't be scared SWTS, I will be here as long as I can! ((((( ♥ )))))
