This swallowtail was visiting our marigolds on the patio...this was the only selfie it allowed...

One early evening this balloon was flying overhead...there is a pilot in the basket, so does that count as a selfie?? BOL!

Petcretary planted an onion she wasn't going to use...and after a while this came up!

When Pawppy & Petcretary joined the unfurbros for a celebration dinner, this bunny obliged with his/her own selfie! (There were pretty gardens around, and this place was inside the city, very close to downtown. Animls seem to adapt well, sometimes.)

Us pups were playing chase and had to stop for a rest and a breather as it was plenty hot! So there you have it...an Ussie!

What a lovely selection of UN-selfies, MOL. Onion flowers sure are pretty. If you collect the seed, which I guess they do have, you could have a whole bed of them. Very statuesque and a delight to see. You two boys do look tired out, Take it easy in the heat, wont you!

We loved all the random selfies, very cool flowers, we grow purple ones at BBHQ. Stay safe in the heat guys, luckily at BBHQ it's rained all night and really cooled things off, although there is a bit of humidity.

ReplyDeleteOnions have surprisingly pretty flowers.I used to grow onions in part of the veg garden. One year we went on holiday to the US for a month and they weren't quite ready to lift. When we got back we had a patch of very tall and beautiful purple onion flowers.

We're 3 miles from downtown and spotted two raccoons, a fox, a bunny and 3 hummingbirds in the past couple of days. You're so right, wildlife manages to adapt...despite density, traffic, pollution and the just plain craziness of city life.
