Happy Canada Day!! Today, July First is Canada's 'Birthday', the 155th one to be exact!
Petcretary was born in Canada, from parents who had just immigrated there, she's a First Generation Canadian. Then she married a US citizen and came to live in Michigan, almost 35 years ago...
Our unfrubros are Canadian therefore as well, and American, too...so we celebrate both holidays! Double the fun!
We imagine we pups are dual citizens as well...BOL!

To all our Canadian friends, be they on Canadian soil or transplanted elsewhere such as petcretary is, have a great Canada Day and don't forget to eat some famous Maple Leaf cake!! BOL!

ReplyDeleteWe grew up with Canadian Channel 9, on which all of the hockey games were telecast.
Where The Hubby and I live now, Canada is closer than Detroit.
Have travel plans for Ontario: Bee Meadow Farm, Canadian Raptor Conservancy, Point Pelee National Park, to name a few.
Plus, all of my blogger friends, from all over the country, from Nova Scotia to British Columbia.
I love me some Canadian Maple Syrup and will eat some today to honor your holiday. I would love the cake but can't eat it. Beau says he can though. He says you both look wonderful all dressed up for you holiday. most of my makeup is from Canada and when I retired I had to wait 3 years to get my RX insurance and bought all my drugs on line from Canada. We are glad you are there to save us money and to be our kind neighbors.
