HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! And if you don't celebrate this special day, Nov 23, 2017, then have a wonderful day! And be thankful!
We are thankful for many blessings that we have here. For friendship, love and our family. For health and good food and a warm home. And so many more, most of which we just take for granted.

Petcretary will be working, so our official day of indulgence (BOL/MOL!), will be on the 24th...and then she has to work the weekend...sigh...but that is OK, we don't mind sharing her as long as pawppy will be here...and the unfurbros will be here too, Hooray!

Dalton for sure has so much to be thankful for this year, who knows how he spent this specail day last year??
And while we sorely miss Angel Minko; we are thankful he no longer is suffering all the physical ailments he endured for those three years.

Purrs, wags and hugs!!

  10. That sounds like what we did for years! Seemed someone always got stuck working the holiday. But our family is so used to it, they don't mind celebrating a holiday or birthday on not the correct day. Besides, ghostwriter says her dear little old people at the nursing home appreciated her being there for them on the holidays, just like your petcretary's people appreciated her for being there!

    1. Petcretary has been with this lifestyle since about 1976...that was she started her first job in health care.
One year she had both holidays off because the unit she worked on shut down over those weeks. Bonus!! BOL/MOL!

  11. Yes we too are thankful for our blogville friends and the friends we have made who visit our blog but don't blog. Your picture looks so festive with the Fall leaves and the pumpkins. I do bet Dalton loved the smell of the wonderful food while it was cooking. Well we are late in wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving but then we can be early in wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season.
    Thanks for being a friend
