Horsey!!

We got a new toy from Chewy...it's a horse! I, Benji like to play tug of war with it, and its fun to carry around, too. But it is a wee bit too small to ride on, BOL! Dalton sadly Has got no clue what to do with it...he rarely plays with toys, except those treat puzzle toys, he is good at those. Petcretary. thinks he must have had a really awful life before coming here, since he doens't know how to play, though he's good at playing with me...we play bitey face and who can shove who the hardest...and playing chase is a good game too.
The weather story continues with 'shovelable' snow every day.And some days of wind chill warnings for -15 to -20F. Brrr Friday it felt warmish in the afternoon because the sun was shining, though all the snow on the sidewalk had ice under it because the sunbeams warmed it up, but when the sun moved and those areas were in the shade, watch out! So out came the sand/salt mixture on those places, and we hope for no more snow for the rest of the winter, yup, as if. And of course the plow came by...As of publishing time, It's -3F...at least it is not snowing here...
The birdies are still as hungry as ever! Have gone through three 20 lb bags of sunflower seeds in only a couple weeks! Not to mention the other food which comes in 10 pound bags...that's going almost as fast.
This horse needs to grow up bigger so I can ride on it!
Hey, who said Horsey could ride on me?
When you're not looking petcretary I might do my surgical procedures on it to de-squeak it...
This is fun to carry around, by the 'reins'...

We're hopping along with all the other Sunday Selfies at The Cat On My Head!

Ooh, I do like your new horsey pull! I hope you have many hours of fun with it. Winter can be a drag, can't it? All those birdies must be grateful to have such a good 'cafe'... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  4. It looks like the horsey is a hit with one of you. Too bad he's not a big enough horse to go outside and help pull the plow to clean the driveway, lol. We too have gone through so much bird food and made it out to the store the other day to buy three more 25 lb bags. Stay warm.

  15. Java Bean: "Ayyy, that kind of reminds me of the horsey that the hawk stole and dropped in our yard that time! Except that one has a rope on it!"
Chaplin: "Dennis always said, why do they put the squeaky inside if they don't want it to be surgically removed? I guess it makes sense from a certain perspective ..."

  21. Your pictures are adorable, my Rosie doesn't play anymore, but I think it's her old age she is 19, but physically in very good condition. She prefers to sleep then to play ! We have rather spring temperatures and it is very wet ! Not nice either and not normal !
