Here we are once again to join up with all the other selfies at The Cat On My Head for their weekly blog hop.
One of our favorite things to do each week.
Not much happening in our doggy world, despite all the uproar in the world we hear about from our pawrents. Which gives thought to the fact that us furry ones are a stress reliever and a stability maker in *their* lives! Phew, what wisdom we have today...
Petcretary was in our back woodsy area, (yet again), and continuing to do clean up duty there, though its MUCH better than when those tree peeps had just come through.
We were snoopervising...or trying to engage our neighbor pup Rose fro a fence running game...or sniffing in all the leaves for something to hunt...and yup! Dalton wouldn't stop digging which is unusual for him...mostly its a Benji thing...but well they both are terriers. Suddenly there was what petcretary thought came from Dalton as he was running away...but wait! Benji was there right with him...and then *she* saw that Dalton had a prize in his jaws...a vole. (Didn't know they could make such a loud yelp/squeal). So they were not about to give it up...but eventually it was dropped and *she* stole it...dead as it was by then...and gave it an impromptu funeral...far away from prying schnooters and paws...what a party pooper! BOL!So here are our selfies for this week:
Did ya have ta steal our fun?? |
Just when the fun was at its height you ruined it...Grrr! |
When our fun is spoiled outside, I have to make my fun time happen inside, BOL!! |
All the selfies are here in the Blog Hop; Thanks Kitties Blue! |
Lovely selfies. Sounds like you both had a good time digging out that vole.
ReplyDeleteYou boys are having a great time both outside and inside!
ReplyDeleteHaHa! The inside fun photo made us laugh! Too true! Great selfies, boys!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Ollie
We are glad you boys had fun - although Mummy says She can't help feeling sorry for that poor vole...
ReplyDeleteDearest Ingrid,
ReplyDeleteNaughty boys but they sure enjoyed catching that vole!
And even inside the house they hunt their prey and KILL.
Those eyes...
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
You two are adorbs!
ReplyDeleteYou two are so cute. We can't believe your mom stole your great find, but you sure had fun destroying that toy for revenge. BOL!
ReplyDeleteLulu: "When I catch a gopher in our yard, Mama and Dada don't usually get the chance to take it away from me on account of I gulp it right down!"
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "And then you yack it up on the carpet. I would say it's disgusting but mainly I'm just jealous because when we yack up a hairball it doesn't make nearly as big of a mess."
Chaplin: "Nice job on the stuffie, Benji! Dennis would approve!"
You caught one? Oh boy...Wilson wants to know how you did that...he's still trying his best to catch a squirrel. Nice selfies, guys.
ReplyDeletedoodz...catchin a vole iz hard werk...petcretarry shuld let ewe.... at leezt take a selfeez with em !! ;) ♥♥
ReplyDeleteAh, I have such happy memories of the one time I caught a field vole, near the top of a hill here in Aberdeenshire. It made a squeaking sound exactly like my favourite squeaky ball. Gail says it was only after this episode that she understood why I am so fond of that particular ball....
ReplyDeleteToodle-oo!
Nobby.
Awesome Selfies from both of. you, and very impressive destuffing:). One time Angel Thunder and Angel Ciara were headed out with Mom to walk. Both were on leashes but got very interested in smelling under the big Spruce tree next to the garage. When Mom finally managed to pull them out, they each an end of a very surprised opossum. Even more surprised was Mom when she gave the Leave It command and both pups dropped the critter immediately. Silly opossum made his way across the driveway at a very slow pace. You would think he would have dashed away lickedy split.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
You two are definitely a paw full of activity. You wear me out!
ReplyDeleteAwww I would've given it a proper funeral too :(
ReplyDeletewe are vole-ontaries too... but the mama was not happy that we came in dirty and with flying bandages.... it is that time now... and we look for a good christmas gift for the mama
ReplyDeleteGreat selfies guys! And you are commended on being vole catchers! Me and Koz and Jo Jo are prodigious vole (and other rodent) hunters and we too know the pain of having our catch removed! Though we must admit seeing N]the Nutcase with a found dead vole stuck between her teeth is quite disconcerting. Concatulations to you Peep for being the first right guesser at 2 Spoiled Cats too! Keep being awesome! Your pals Marvelous Marv, Kozmo, Jo Jo, Nutcase er Nutmeg and Mom Barb
