Petcretary the tree cutting crew and a friend are still working in the backyard to get rid of all the logs, limbs and other tree debris. It's a lot more open now...but sheesh, what a mess. It's a good thing it is fall and soon everything will be covered in leaves and or snow...so that when spring comes, all the now bare areas can start growing grass and tons of green weeds again, BOL! Petcretary will scatter grass seed when everything is cleaned up. For some reason neither Dalton or Benji are interested in digging! Unbe-woofable!! But thankful!
Anyways, soon it will be Halloween. We got ourselves dressed up, not anything scary, spooky or evil, since actually *she* doesn't care one bit for this holiday.
We don't even see trick or treaters here, because the treats in our area are so scattered, being as we are in a rural setting. There are more lucrative places for the little ones to go and fill their sacs. There won't be a lot of light either, since the next full moon isn't till mid November.
Petcretary was sort of sad that Benji's outfit didn't come with a hat like Dalton's...though Benji sure couldn't care less, BOL!! Dalton rocked it this week!!
We didn't want to make an ussie...oh well!
Pawppy has our food delivery from Chewy, and we sure hope there are treats in there, too!! |
We are joining the Sunday Selfies Bloghop! Thanks, Kitties Blue, for hosting as always! |
Dearest Ingrid,
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm totally with you on the Halloween things—zero interest.
Love the selfies though.
Guess our fur babies can read the word Chewy on those boxes... they know!
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
Awww, you both look so cute dressed up! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate Halloween either. We live down a narrow single track country lane, so if there are trick or treaters around they wouldn't come down here in the dark. Cute outfits for the boys.
ReplyDeleteHowloween isn't generally celebrated here in Israel - though it does look sort of fun - and you look furry cute in your costumes.
ReplyDeleteBoth of you look so cute in your costumes! We don't get trick or treaters at our house as our road is narrow and the cars move to fast.
ReplyDeleteYou two make the cutest pickleball players we've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteTerrific costumes!
ReplyDeleteI have doggie treats for you 2 cuties!

We agree with your Mum. Besides Halloween is a pagan holiday-we just never got how people get so jazzed up for it. No thank you. And the doorbell ringing...ugh. Wilson goes crazy when the mailman pushes mail through the mail slot; having strangers wearing masks is probably gonna push him over the edge. And me too! BOL P.S. Super adorable selfies.
ReplyDeleteyou are super well prepared for howl ow een , we love the clawstumes..... and we hope the chewy parcel is full with tasty things...
ReplyDeleteYou two look so super sweet in your outfits, Dalton and Benji, we're sure you get treats from chewi😸😸Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead to all of you🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteLulu: "You guys ... aren't interested in digging?"
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, we don't understand."
Lulu: "If you would like us to come and excavate a few holes for you we would be more than happy to do it, just let it know. Right, Bean?"
Java Bean: "¡Sí!"
Lulu: "Just stand back when we do it, because we throw a lot of dirt and we wouldn't want to get your adorable costumes messed up!"
We are having way more fun playing through the fence games (zooming up and down the whole length og ther fence...and sometimes all the way round the whole acre), then we get too tired to think about digging. Benji spends a lot of time waiting to see his 'girlfriend', BOL! (Though today. he was veery focused on the pantry...there was a mouse that came in when the temps went below freezing last night...soon he'll be trapped...peanut butter is too tempting!)
DeleteMaybe your mom could fashion a little headband for Benji. You both look great in your costumes.
ReplyDeleteYou both look Fabulous, Happy Halloween xoxo Little Miss Titch
