Sweet Guest Kitty!

Today we will show you a kitty that came to visit some of the residents where Petcretary works.

But first some other stuff...

Spring might be taking its time, but it is showing signs of things to come!

Our weeping cherry tree is getting some color...
Its branches have these deep magenta buds all over it.

The Scilla are in abundance all thorugh the grass and leaves under the cherry tree.
The dogwood has buds too.

Which look like alien creatures, LOL!

Petcretary was first to class at Teddy'sTuesday Teaser....and she was also the one who had the first right guess! Wow, That doesn't happen too often...Here is the badge she got, it has an Easter theme...BOL!
Us pups gave our pawrents a scare Saturday morning...pawppy came downstairs to a barf-festival...here a barf, there a barf, everywhere a barf...eeuuwwww! Of course we didn't squeal on each other, so they do not know who the 'barfer' was....but after a while they downed their breakfast and all was well again.

Phew, at least it was short lived....we all hope!

Earlier this past week, we had an intruder here...he had  a noisy machine too. And he stomped around in the kitchen and in the cellar, too. There was a flood in the cellar when we let the water out of the sink after doing the dishes, etc. Well after a couple of passes with that noisy drain sink of his, he pulled out the blockage...it was a bird!! Yikes, that poor bird!! Apparently it fell into the vent pipe outside....so now there is a cover to still let the air out, but nothing cam fall in anymore.

OK. here is Katie, our pretty calico guest!

We are hopping along with all the other Sunday selfies at The Cat On My Head!

  1. Awesome buds on your trees, love those weeping branches. I have never seen the weeping cherry, only weeping willows. so sorry about the barfing and hope it was a one time thing. WOW on a bird doing all that damage and costing all those dollars. Yet another thing I have never seen and hope never to.. we have two of those open things on our roof, now i will add that to my fret list

  2. What a pretty guest you have!
We love the flowery pictures too. There is nothing, simply nothing, as beautiful as early Spring!

  3. Lovely to see nature showing signs after a long and miserable winter. What a lovely visiting cat. More cats and dogs for seniors is our cry. Maybe you two pups can be on best behaviour (no barfs) and visit too?
Well done to the staff for getting first prize! Just shows things are looking up al around.🙂 Though not for the poor bird!

  5. Dearest Ingrid and fur babies,
Your weeping cherry is a dream of a tree at that size!!!
    Love the dogwood buds photos.
And what a nasty thing that barf festival... Hard to know indeed who did it.
Our Spunky girl did barf in the kitchen on the tiles. We don't have any carpet anymore so that helps!
Katie is indeed a very sweet guest kitty!
Hugs and tomorrow evening I will post your artwork...

  17. Poor bird and poor you with all that water ! What a beautiful cat ! Does she or he like you doggies ? Usually on weekends we have a lot of dog visitors in our "castle" of all breeds ! And often very big ones but all very friendly and they are allowed to go everywhere even in the restaurant ! That's great !
