Bitey-Face Games For Sunday Selfies

We played a lot of bitey-face games in the past few days...they don't make the best images due to all the motion, but they are fun to capture anyways.

But first we also had some quieter selfies to show you...

Hi, Petcretary! You caught my grin!!
It sure was windy the other day!

These Muscari are growing wild in the woodsy area in the back of our property! So pretty to see them each spring. They've been marked so that when *she* mows back there for weed control she doesn't cut them down.(Sorry I can't enlarge this, blogger is giving me grief...)
Does anyone know what this mushroom is?? There are three of them not too far from where the mucari are.

Bitey-face games sure look violent!

Hi, Petcretary...I know I'm pestering Benji...but I want to play more bitey-face!

Petcretary was the first right guesser of Teddy's Tuesday Teaser, so she got this Badge as her reward.

We are joining up with The Cat On My Heads to have fun in the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop! Thanks for hosting!

  1. Dearest Ingrid,
Love the windy video type the most!
Your beautiful muscari—when clicked upon—do nicely enlarge.
It looks like you are showing a Common Stinkhorn in your picture: https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2023/01/common-stinkhorn-or-phallus-impudicus.html

  2. The wind in the furs is a great feeling, don't you think? And oh how I wish I had a resident bitey face playmate. Sigh.

  5. I can remember so well the bitey face games between Maggie and Mitch. They were just the best! There is nothing more wonderful than a smile on a pup's face.

  6. Love the animated fight/muzzle bit game. The dogs at our farm do the same. I being a cat frown on such antics, MOL ;)

  7. We love your bitey face games and your selfies. There is nothing as fun as a good game of bitey face. That is an interesting mushroom but we couldn't identify if for you.

  8. Looks like those bites face games are great for getting out the winter itchy-scratchies. Concats to Petcretary on her Tuesday Teaser award.

  9. Outstanding selfies, guys. I think that mushroom is Morchella semilibera, commonly called the half-free morel but I could be wrong. Supposedly it's edible but I always avoid eating 'shrooms from the wild. I'll just get them from the grocery store, thank you very much. 😉

    2. P.S. Your Muscari are adorable. They tend to proliferate easily here and have popped up throughout our garden.

  14. Java Bean: "Ayyy, bitey-face games are the best! Along with chase games! And the game where Lulu lies on her back and I grab her scruff and shake and pull!"
Charlee: "That last one doesn't sound like that much fun."
Lulu: "Oh it's a blast! You should try it!"
    Charlee: "Hard pass thanks."
