A Sunday Of Remembering With Selfies

Today we are grateful to our many furends who have come by to render their condolences and sympathy on the sudden, unexpected graduation to the heavenly realms of our dear brofur, Minko.
So here is a selfie made in March, 2011.
Angel Minko being rather haughty...or maybe regal? (March, 2011)
Angel Minko 'came home' a few days ago. He has a beautiful little wooden box. When petcretary gets it together, she will make a special spot to display this along with the many cards she has received.
She thanks all of our blogging friends for all the ongoing support.

This was intended as a Mother's Day picture. (March, 2011)

Dressed up for Mother's Day, 2011

Minko knew how to be silly...and this picture is not at the wrong angle, MOL!
This weeks Sunday Selfie Blog Hop has kindly been dedicated to Angel Minko and another recent angel, Bilbo, from the DB Boys.

So here once again are the mementos for them:
Minko was a fluffy kitten who grew up to a handsome mancat...

And yet another beloved blogging pal has received the gift of Angel wings. Bailey from Idaho Pug Ranch. Hugs and much sympathy to his family at this time.

  3. Minko will be so dearly missed, and has brought many happy smiles to our faces since we have been blogging. And now, even though has graduated and has his wings, he blesses us with such sweet and delightful selfies, such sweet memories to drive away the tears and remember the good in everyone.
Gentle purrs to you all. Erin

    1. Yes they sure are, and we are so glad we have them. My other angel furs do not have nearly as many 'captured' memories as now with a digital camera. And we were not on any social site or blogging back then...but they too are forever in our hearts.

  6. What a handsome fellow Minko always was, we are still in deep sadness over him being gone. We always looked forward to seeing his gorgeous face. They always leave us too quickly and too soon. But we are happy to see his beautiful selfie this week.

It *is* a hard thing to deal with but we are muddling through as best we can.
Petcretary had a weepy bit at her work last night, when she told a co worker about it all...then you wipe your eyes and get on with it. Maybe the hard work petcretary does is a good therapy and distraction.

    1. We let Pipo and dog-guy have a sniff of the little wooden box, but they just sniffed and then went about their own doings. Its sealed tightly...I want to make a little name plate to fasten to it and maybe a bit of some whiskers...of which I do have a few.

Thanks so much for you kind words, they really do help a lot.

    1. Oh, My, Phenny, you are making petcretary;s eyes leak again. She nevfur thought of his eyes like that, but yes you are spot on with the comparison of clear blue mountain streams...
Virtual hugs help a lot...more than you know. But we do know what you mean.
Thank you so much for all those virtual hugs, and maybe a lick from you? MJF is a good licker and send some wiggly wags to you all. He really had to wiggly hard to send them across the big pond...

  20. There have been some sad times in Blogville the last couple months with the loss of so many cherished friends.
We always love your memorial pictures, though. We like how you put so many squirrels in Mr. Bailey's picture. At first you'd think, why squirrels? The answer is: dog heaven is where all the bad squirrels go.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That for sure made petcretary BOL/MOL! Bad squirrels go to doggy heaven. Spot on!!

She put those in there cause most pups love to chase them so now is his chance...or maybe they are all furends up there? Who knows...

  31. I'm so very sorry to be late extending my condolences regarding your precious Minko. I don't get to visit blogs much any more and I'm certain Minko has settled in at the Rainbow Bridge, surrounded by many angel friends. I'm honored Minko graced the pages of Makin' Biscuits and know he is bringing smiles to those that read about his antics! Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey gang
