Sunday Selfies, Birthdays And Remembrances

Its a busy day here at our den. Today is the Birthday of our unfurbro-the-elder. He is now the ripe old age of twentysix. Wow, that is more than two times us kittie's ages...though not quite double that of dog-guy. When this young man came into our den of course we were not here, but there were two other kitties, Groucho and Simba.
They are both angels, now. Our Angel Groucho was quite spawsial you know. He was  not only the first kitty the petcretary evfur had, he shared the birthday of our unfurbro-the-elder! OMC! How cool is that! Simba was a May kitten...and he was loved by Groucho as well as unfurbro-the-elder. Petcretary taught him how to be nice to all kitties from an early age. Those kitties would snuggle up beside her when she was cuddling the newborn or nursing him. They did never try to get into the crib or playpen where he would sleep in the daytime. There was no dog-guy here at that time...
And of course all this was repeated when unfurbro-the-younger arrived on the scene.
Groucho
After Simba became an angel we got Suki and she too got to know the young unfurs. She shared the same birthday as Groucho and unfurbro-the-elder! Wowee!
Suki
Groucho became quite frail and ill in his last months of life, but he also got to meet Toki who was also a May kitten, almost the same day as Simba.
Groucho became an angel not too long after we had Toki come to join our furmily...
Sadly Toki also had to go to the RB...and dear diva Suki too, got furry ill and she too became an angel.
Shortly after Toki graduated to the heavenly realms, We arrived here; we did get to meet Suki and diva that she was even though she was already not well, she tried to boss us around, MOL!

A furry good furend from Catster (Tundra), made these picture-cards/mementos for us:

So this day is a triple birthday!! One to catabrate and two to reminisce about:)

And the peeps have already catabrated with unfur-bro-the-elder as today is day two of petcretary's weekend to be at her work. There is no end to work at a nursing home, it is a 24/7 operation...but that's OK, we know she takes as good care of her residents as she does her furmily:) We suppose we can and should share her talents...afterall, when she is at her work, mostly pawppy is still here with us! He has a nice big lap and he likes to take good naps...which of course we take advantage of, MOL!!

Now of course you are all awaiting our selfies so here they are:

  12. You do have a lot to celebrate! And I loved all of your photos. I've never seen shots of those kitties that have come before. Such beauties! I've become really enamored of the Siamese-type kitties since I raised bottle baby Fergus this summer. Now I can't get enough!

    1. Fergus is a sweetie:) He does look like a ragdoll...but you know, he is just Fergus, and you love him, that is what counts. We are all meezers here, or meezer types, because for some reason petcretary is not allergic to them. She loves all kinds of kitties but they mostly all bother her immensely...so meezers are the best fit. Go figure!

And she knew about them from her aunt...which is where Pipo's name comes from...he's named after one of her kitties:)

Celebrations are fun but they do tire out those involved, MOL!
