We are not looking at the camera nicely today...nope we're not:)
Not today, we didn't want to cooperate much..we said we were just going to be askance with the selfies this week...BOL/MOL!
Minko is like a yo-yo...one day he will cooperate with the feed assist, and then the next he decides to spit it all out as fast as it goes in...what a mess. Not sure what the issue is...might be needing a visit to *that place* if it keeps up this way, some feedings are now taking 30 - 45 minutes whereas before it could be done in 10 - 15. Nothing else has changed, other than the season, MOL!
We got our prize package from Basil...all the way from England, OMC!! Thanks Basil, we will do a post about it soon...we hope!
And of course we are on the list to get Billy the Time-Cat's scarf here too. Hmmm, better be a lot of good bright days...
Petcretary has a busy week ahead, so we are sure she is going to get all behind once again, Sheesh!
We also were a bit late in getting to Rumpy's Gotcha Day pawrty...but we helped the petcretary make a card for him:

As always, you boys are lookin' handsum. Sorry 'bout da eatin' thing. We fur sure know 'bout dat. We's sendin' lots of purrayers. And altho' we know dat 30 minutes seems like a long time to your mommy, truth is, kitties really should take 'tween 20 to 40 minutes to eat a meal on their own, so with help, it could still take a while. Anyways, big hugs to all.

DeletePetcretary wasn't aware of that info. Thanks for teaching us...she will have to try and take that into consideration. He has never sat at a dish of food for longer than 5 minutes on his own...even before he got sick. Takes 2 or 3 bites and then stalks off...
Those are all nice selfies, even if you didn't want to look right at the camera.

DeleteHaving just spent a week doing assisted feedings of my own with a very ill cat, I want to give a two paws up for your meowmie! It's a lot of work, especially with kitties that don't want to play along.

Sorry your kitty is so ill. Hope you have success, we'll purr hard. Minko has been fed like this for over two years now...sigh...sometimes it does tend to take over your life. I love him and mostly he will let me do this but of late not without a time of shaking it all out of his mouth...and all over the place. We... that is to say the vet(s) and I cannot come up with any good reason for his not eating on his own. Once in a while he sniffs at it, or takes a cursory bite, but eat?? Nope:( Nothing tempts him trust me we have tried, MOL! But he will and does eat catnip, and he bites at wires if we stupidly leave them in accessiable places. He sneaks outside through the doggy door and then he eats grass...but of course after he gets back indoors, said grass is allover the carpet. Ugh. With pepcid, prilosec, prednisolone, and vitamin B he had been doing quite well. Not sure what is going on now. He will be 12 in December. Vet thinks he has IBD? Blood in stools, vomiting, etc before he started the meds and feed assistance. Thanks for listening and caring.
