Today we are feeling ho-hum...it's now officially spring, but with the temp at time of publishing at 24F, and it was cold and windy all day, we are not feeling it that much...though the sun was nice on our backs when we were in an inside sunpuddle. On the first official spring day, what were we greeted with?? Snow! Um, really??
Well then we had very high winds, and a power outage for a few hours, and lots of hard rain when the power was on again...those high winds ruined one of our wind-spinners...we think it was spun out of control, BOL!
OK, we survived it all quite well, and now the hardy little scilla plants are popping up all over the ground; (some are even blooming their little cheerful blue/purple flowers); under our weeping cherry tree, which, by the way is not feeling too springy either, all the buds are closed very tight, it will be a while before they decide to bloom. One thing that is growing well despite adverse weather is WEEDS! UGH!
Anyways we didn't see that camera thing or the phone pointed at us too much lately...ho hum, we're fine with that!! BOL!
A Chewy box came and we had a yummy bag of treats in there...

ReplyDeleteSpring arrived nicely for us, in fact we have had two weeks of mostly dry weather. Temperatures averaging between high 50s and low 60s, although night time is dropping right down. Cute selfies.

No one could blame you at all for having a tasty treat as quick as you could. Sounds like your weather was nasty as ours. And this morning it's bitter cold again, at 25°. Precious has to be satisfied with only having a window open for a few minutes first thing in the morning. No open doors yet.

ReplyDeleteIt was furry windy indeed over the weekend, but now the sun is out and the tempurratures are climbing again. But it's still rather cold in the early morning and at night. But Mummy says not long to go now, and We'll soon be complaining how hot it is (mol).

ReplyDeleteWe too have had crazy wind, bizarre changes in temps, cold then hot, and rain, snow, sun - you name it and we got it. Last night it was hail and t-storms. Bet those liver treats were yummy.

ReplyDeleteAnd here Spring moved in with up and downs, but we had the hottest temperature in Brussels for March since the weather stations exist ! I spent a lot outside in our park and purred in the sunshine. Now it's cloudy again but warm. You darlings look so cute especially when eating the treat ! I wished this rollercoaster weather would stop, but last year it was the same. I checked my blog !
