Its Palm Sunday! But...the temp is frigid at 25F...Brrr! No palms growing around our neck of the woods, BOL!
So we are dressed up a bit for the occasion... |
We think the little elephant made a cute selfie...well, sort of, BOL!!
Petcretary was right with her guess for Teddy's Tuesday Teaser, but she was not first...in fact she was late to class, BOL! |
The Sunday Selfies this week are dedicated to Angel Sammy, from 15&Meowing. Once again here are the two mementos that were made in his honor by our Petcretary.
You can still visit his mom at her blog if you have not yet done so...just click here
We are in the 399th blog hop with The Kitties Blue who are the ever faithful hosts of this wonderful and fun hop! Thanks all of you for hosting every week. We love you and we love this fun hop, too! |
If that is a precious family textile I would make sure it is properly preserved. Check out textile conservators online. The Smithsonian have a page of tips you can read to make sure the fabric is well cared for for future generations.
ReplyDeleteI love the sayings and my basic Dutch was able to keep up with most of them!!
25F! Brrr, that is below zero in Celsius! Hope you get some warmer weather in time for Easter!
ReplyDeleteyou two look quite fetching, pun intended, all dressed up in your bowties. that is too cold for us, i had to wear a jacket for our cold front that came yesterday and today, 68 at wake up and 77 high. we DO have palm trees LOL... my mother loved counted cross stitch and I have a framed small one of Daddys church he pastored. it hangs in the bedroom. she loved crochet and embroidery also
ReplyDeleteThe cross stitch is awesome, it's so nice to have something like that to preserve for generations, so that those who come after have a piece of those who came before.
ReplyDeleteIt is unseasonably cold here but Mom assures us that today's temperature will be more like it should be but she is trusting the weather app. We aren't going to believe it until we feel it with our own paws.
Those are a great set of Sunday Selfies (especially your Oma's cross stitched elephant), and you two pups look awesomely smart in your red bow ties.
ReplyDeleteToodle-oo!
Nobby.
That's a great selfie, boys!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Ollie
You two look very dapper in your bow ties. That sure is a beautiful family heirloom you have. Maybe it should be mounted under glass to help preserve it.
ReplyDeleteCutie pies!
ReplyDeleteWe support Ukraine!
Our temps have been well below average, with a warming trend coming.
Beautiful selfie and cross stitch!
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "What a cool wall hanging!"
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "We don't know the language but we think part of it says 'milk is good' and we have to agree with that."
Lulu: "Cute selfies, as always!"
Loved the wall hanging. I still have some treasures my mother did as a young woman.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the beautiful badges for Sammy's family and us. You make the beautuiful and loving badges, Thank you for that.
Nice selfie! We've got lots of palms here where we live!
ReplyDeleteYou two are so cute. Hopefully the weather will warm up a little this week. That cross stitch is pretty amazing.

ReplyDeleteSorry we have not been around much lately. Just when we think there's finally enough staff at the nursing home … there isn't! Ill be working through Easter, and then hope maybe to go back to my 3 days a week.
ReplyDeleteBut it's good to see you pups! The cross stitch linen is amazing. We have some needle work from our Oma and her older relatives too. Sorry to hear about your friends. Sending hugs to their families. Oh, and the sunflower is beautiful and a great symbol for Ukraine!
