Before we get started we need to remind you of this PSA:
A Public Service Note:
As of Jan 1, 2020, petcretary will no longer be making all the Birthday and Gotcha Day cards. She will make Memorial Cards, and maybe a few others. She is spending way too much time on them, (Sometimes up to 8 hours on a card), even though she loves making them...Sorry to have to put an end to those...if you want one and have not had one for your special furend/furbaby...send her a clear image with an unobtrusive background at least 4 weeks ahead, and she will get one out to you. Just leave a comment, with contact info.

Yup, it was more than Christmas around here...
Pipo: On Boxing Day, which is not celebrated here in the USA, but petcretary comes from Canada, so its still that to her...well, anypaws, Dec 26th, (aka Boxing Day), was also the birthday of our Granny, she is no longer with us, but I think I would have loved to sit on her lap...though that would have been a long ride to get to that lap as she lived in Washington, DC...so we always remember that on Dec 26th around this den.
And well, it was also MY birthday! I became 15! That means I am the second longest living kitty in this den...I hope to outlive the years that Groucho the first kitty here did, he was about 18 or 19. Who knows?? I am doing pretty well, despite all the health issues I had earlier this past year, so we here, are all thankful for that too.
But petcretary had to work that day and the next, so there was no pawrty here for little me, let alone any boxes to jump in, (though actually I am a rarity in that I am not too interested in boxes..)...but I did get lots of pets and lap time with pawppy. Who filled my bowl too! And the young unfurs were here for a bit too, so I got more belly rubs from the elder one...cause I miaowed at him, and begged for them, MOL! Of course I always get lots of them from pawppy, too:)
The card shop was busy in its almost last days...
If anyone knows how to contact Princess Erin's Mom, could they let me know...I can't send her this image...
We will try and show you all our cards in an extra post, perhaps on New Year's Eve, that will be a nice way to end the year.

Awww, you all look wonderful in your celebratory clothing, picture perfect, too. Now I must wish you, Pipo, a Very Happy Birthday. Thank you so very much for our Birthday Card, the first outside of Valentine's, we have ever had, and we shall cherish it for ever. I think as this is your last year making them that we are incredibly lucky and honoured to receive one. Thank you kindly.
ReplyDeleteWe do not do christmouse time here, but Mrs H does do me a special Birthday meal and once we have been out and done some charity work, we turn off the lights and enjoy the log fires burning and the carol singers singing. And yes, even a small sherry too ;)
