Yesterday there was a Halloween affair at our local pet shop. Lots of dogs and some kitties, too. At the end of the doings there was a parade and all the attendees including us, went marching through the store's aisles.
They had a contest, and we ourselves didn't win, well, we were outclassed, BOL! It was still lots of fun, and we got pets from many people and sniffed butts and noses with some of the doggies. I, Benji wanted to play with a few of them and woofed and arrooed my plans, but wasn't allowed...and I, Dalton enjoyed meeting a small cocker spaniel named Lily, dressed as a bee, but she had no sting. She won one of the prizes, too. I, Petcretary was amazed at Dalton not being aggressive or grumpy to any people or pets, and he gladly accepted treats from the ladies volunteering at the various trick or treat stations. And of course Benji always loves everyone.
Here are some fun guest selfies from this event:
Mojo, a mermaid in a mommy crafted oystershell. |
| She won best overall, we kind of expected that! |
| Thumbelina, a kitten, who accompanied 5 children all dressed up in various costumes. They won the prize for best group. |
| She conked out while riding on her person's shoulder. |
| When she woke up, se wasn't too sure about all the dogs and other noisy things happening, but she remained calm. |
| Georgia, a wee foster kitten. |
| Who is already a great selfie taker! |
Of course you want to see us...but those images will wait till Halloween Weekend...
Meanwhile on Friday night petcretary was going through her big bag of costumes, trying to find suitable ones...and she got some cute seasonal selfies of us. These were all taken by lamplight...but no flash.

| Petcretary said Dalton wanted to be a sweeter monster so he took out his fangs, BOL! (Not sure why they are not showing...) |
