Happy Tenth Birthday, Dalton!

 Dalton turns 10 today...or more, but he won't tell us, so we'll never know! We, the vet, Pawppy and I all realize he's likely a lot older, than what his rescuers told us. back in 2017.

Anyways, we'll celebrate today, that is the important thing, right?!

He is still not 100%, mostly not eating, and acting very anxious at times. Sometimes he'll eat a bit on his own, or he will lick the juices off a bowl of wet food, otherwise even most treats are shunned. even the ones he loved in the past. 

If in the course of a day he hasn't eaten anything much, he gets hand fed...

At least he no longer need a belly band for incontinence issues, and he does normal #2's.

Thanks to all of you for your POTP, care and concern, it helps so much to know others are rooting for him.

I have the fixings for a doggy cake, but I think I might hold off on that until his gotcha day, at the end of September. Hopefully by then he will be able to enjoy it.

Dalton is  thankful that he was found and rescued, and that soon afterwards he found his forever home.

Petcretary and Pawppy are thankful to have this little dude with us, even though he has a lot of issues, due to whatever happened to him in his 'before' life...and Benji, we presume is happy to have this (little) big brother in his life!
