Last week we were sort of grumbling about the cold and snow, it was definitely winter, though it was still fall. Today is the start of winter officially, but right now it sort of feels like March! Almost all the snow, which was quite deep when it was fresh, is gone, the grass is visible and only the snow remains where it was piled up! Thursday it poured buckets all day long, and after a brief return to nasty wintry weather on Friday, we are enjoying the balm! However we think we will not have a white Christmas! Instead we might have a muddy one! BOL!
With the return of visible grass, the yard is way more interesting to us...there are squirrels digging holes where they had buried acorns and walnuts, and lots of new underground tracks are visible from the mole and voles. We spent quite a lot of time investigating the large wood pile...and some of the smaller ones, leftovers from the May storm cleanup work...which got put on hold due to the weather and our friend who is doing the work, well he is busy now, with his wife, she is newly diagnosed with breast cancer and is undergoing chemo and that is way more important than our tree mess!
Our unfurbros will be here for Christmas...and maybe for Christmas Eve. Extra fun for Benji, but extra stress for Dalton. Our pawrents sure wish that we could figure out how to help him not be so anxious and stressed when there are 'strangers' around...especially men...
We saw two different Santas in past weeks...too bad it was before we were bad! Hmmm. Anyways, the other day the pawrents came home to this:

| Petcretary likes to do jigsaw puzzles...but um...sheesh! |

| Petcretary thinks it was me who did the ripping up work..but of course I am not telling, BOL! |
Then the other day petcretary was upstairs getting something she needed. Pawppy had gone to bed early...anyways when she came back downstairs she walked to the other side of the house and saw this:
This poor bunny had the misfortune of entering into (under the gate) our yard, likely to find something to munch on...Rabbits and other fauna who venture under the gates (which is the only way to enter if they are large, because the fence itself is buried a foot), do not stand a chance if either of us take notice. So this one was brought inside, likely be me, Benji, but I am not telling...and dumped right by our toy box...petcretary had to quickly retrieve it and gave it a funeral, which was the best she could do as it was quite deaded by the games we had with it...Would you believe, when Pawppy saw that picture the next morning, he thought the rabbit had gotten into the house on its own through our doggy doors...yeah, as if...BOL!!!![]() |
| We can't possibly be guilty of those crimes...we claim innocence... |
Anyways here is the image from the ripped up card, made into a frame for enhancement...and for your enjoyment:

| From our first Santa Visit |
Here is another image taken at the first Santa visit by petcretary, (with her phone while she watched us...), and put by magical AI into another background, because the one there wasn't wide enough and it was showing stuff from the pet store...
We took an older image of us in our Christmas sweaters (sheesh we DO have a lot of them!), and petcretary played with it in FLOW, an AI program she has on her computer. (to be honest, she finds it easier to bring everything she wants to use in an image into Gimp and work it from there...it can do a lot more than the AI! The image generator there is OK, but it can be quite wonky and weird in producing what she asks for, BOL!)![]() |
| It's another Christmas card from us to YOU all! (Petcretary wonders if she should redo it and add an angel bunny...hmmm) |

| We are hopping in the famous Blog Hop known as The Sunday Selfies, at The Cat On Our Head who host this feature each and every week! Since 2014 already! WOWEE! |

Well, it has certainly been fun and games for you two! I think it will definitely be a big sack of coal, but maybe Santa will relent. The Christmas card is lovely.

ReplyDeleteOMD, you two... I'd be treading very lightly for these last few days before Christmas, if I were you! That's quite the bit of mischief... And I really think that Petcretary's photo of you with the first Santa is the best of the lot! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Love the Santa visit shots! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYou two are as innocent as Lambs. No way any pups that look as cute as you could have done any destruction. I bet you even tried to give that poor rabbit CPR. I'm sure you'll get plenty of Milk Bones for Christmas and not coal.
ReplyDeleteWhich of your adorable graphics can we use for the Bloggers Holiday Slideshow? Deadline today! We see ALOT of adorable Christmassy pictures here!!!!!
