Yes we did, it's the team that petcretary would cheer for, long before she even knew our pawppy...afterall she was born in Toronto and lived in Ontario, Canada until she got married all those eons ago. (38 years).
Anyways, we dressed up in our Blue Jay suits and made some selfies and ussies...
The Blue Jays as of this writing are tied at three games each with the LA Dodgers in the 2015 World Series. We won't know the outcome until we get up in the morning...so we'll cheer them on in our dreams!
If they win, we'll be thankful and if they lose we'll be thankful they even got this far!! (Next year we'll keep cheering on the Detroit Tigers as long as we need to...)
Even as we dictate this to our petcretary, we are cheering on the U of M Wolverines as they play Purdue...sorry pawppy, we know you are a Purdue grad, but we live in Michigan, not Indiana! BOL!
Then tomorrow we'll hope good things for the Detroit Lions!
And of course there are all the hockey teams we need to remember...
And we will not be happy no matter which team wins these games, because we are going to be getting our breakfast an hour later tomorrow. Sheesh...why do they still keep messing with the time? We hope one day to be staying in Standard time...

ReplyDeleteWe were actually rooting for the Blue Jays (mostly cause the USA has been treating our Canadian neighbors so badly, but also 'cause all our ancestors are Canadian!!!) ... so we were sorry and sad they didn't make it! But oh my: Benji and Dalton, y'all look awesome in your sports-team outfits ... way to go, guys!

We have been watching Eugene Levy who is a Canadian actor and he has been travelling the world seeing new places. This week he went to Ontario which is the other end of Canada to Toronto (I think) and wow Canada looks beautiful!

Sorry I'm late...I did root for the Blue Jays to win it all. They were so close. They have nothing to be ashamed of-it was a great series and they provided lots to enjoy.
