In The Car Selfies

We got loaded into the car for an adventure...we'll tell you about it some other day...

It's been a whirlwind of a week for petcretary...but we got through it, and hopefully the coming week will be a bit slower paced...yup, as if!

It's turned 'fallish' too, and now a lot of trees are looking very pretty in their fall garments.

This is a picture of our friend closing the gate before he takes off with a load of logs he's cut up...the board is needed to keep us from trying to get through the rather wide gap in between the gate 'doors'.
I love to smile like this when I know we are going HOME!
I am thinking how nice it will be when I can get out of this harness and romp and dig in our yard...

We're hopping along with many other Sunday Selfies at The Cat On My Head, the hosts of this fun hop. Thanks Kitties Blue!

  12. Those are great car selfies. Mom says that the clock was like that when she moved here in 1999. She's not sure where the parts are for it. Our Dad never had it assembled when he moved here WAYYY earlier than she came.

    1. Aww, that's too bad, it looks like a beautiful 'piece'. Sometimes my dad had to make parts for clocks, and he even did house calls. Of course these days clock makers, the old fashioned kind, are a dying breed...I can hardly find anyone to fix my antique cuckoo clock...and what is my other clock from the Netherlands conks out? Sheesh.

    1. Yes they are...there were several trees of that size that came down back in May when we had those storms. I think three, plus many other 'thinner' ones, though even they were large enough to ruin my fence and take down others on their way to the ground. Its so much better now, but still needs more lumberjack work...mine for the smaller stuff and our friend does the hige stuff, a bit at a time. When his truck is full, he stops. Good idea!
