In The Shade Selfies

It's been mostly a quiet week around this den of ours, petcretary says that's a good thing. It  still is quite hot and humid, so everyone just wants to lollygag in shady spots or inside with the AC. So today's selfies include  an ussie of us doing just that, while *she* slaves in the yard, mowing the grass.

We are hopping along with many others at The Cat On my Head who are the hosts of tis weekly fun hop. Thanks Kitties Blue!

  4. Seems like the hots are the new normals ... but you two look pretty okay with it just the same, maybe that green grass is a little damp and cooling your tummy furs?

  5. You two look like you're having a great time watching Petcretary mow grass. Even in this heat and dry that we've had the grass just keeps on growing doesn't it.

  10. Hi Guys! (Marv waves wildly), It has been Hot here too, except we cooled down Friday and had tons of rain! Boy do we need rain! It has been so hot and dry and there have been so many "almost" fires - but this summer we have been lucky that the sky pours buckets on us about every 2 weeks. Even I, Marv, who hates the wet have been out and letting it fall on me! Our human brother is back from working in Saskatchewan and Mom is happy as she has been doing the lawn mowing. I think that all that walking has helped her walking! She hardly needs her can or crutches now! Keep being awesome guys! Purrs Marvelous Marv, Kozmo, Jo Jo, Nutcase er Nutmeg and Mom Barb

  15. Hi friends, hi friends - it has been hot here too. Does grass make you cool? My people won't let me try it. Styx (and Tigris who is not as friendly with dogs).

  19. "Hot week = lazy pups! 😴 We stay cool inside while our human works hard in the yard. Grass is boring anyway—napping is way more fun! 🐶

  23. Lulu: "That is some lovely green grass you have for lounging in, boys! We have a bit of grass, but a lot of the yard is dirt right now. Apparently because we keep digging holes in it ..."
Java Bean: "Ayyy, totally worth it though. And personally I enjoy lying in the dirt. It is nice and warm!'
