New Angels ~ Let Us Show Kindness To Their Family.

Well, I was not expecting to have a real challenge of kindness today, but a member of a FaceBook group I am in posted tthere about the recent loss of two of her precious kitties.

Some of us bloggers may remember them from our Catster days.

So Flossie, sister of Freddie, who was an angel long ago already went to be with her twin brother...and also the same family lost Wilf, a rescue kitty from their neighborhood,

While  I rarely post things in that group - (Caster Buddies), I do watch the doings there several times a month, and today I got that notification...so of course I got to 'work'

They do not have a blog, and I have no way to contact the lady, sadly enough, except through that FB group., which is also a private group...sigh...so you can try to access that link I provided, but it may come up unavailable.

Anyways here are the mementos I made in their honor.

Wilf

Flossie

If you think its a good idea, I can send all your comments to them by the good method of cut and paste, LOL!

Meanwhile, on Saturday night petcretary started to feel sick...and it became much worse over the rest of the weekend...so she got herself tested for Covid at her workplace...and you betcha, it was positive. Yikes!

So now she is quarantined for a few days..till the 15th. She will miss some work days, too...sigh...

She has a cough and sometimes sounds like us pups, BOL! She had a low grade fever chills and a sore throat. So far she can still taste and smell. Hopefully it won't get worse, but  will clear up quickly. POTP to our Petcretary!

Well, its not quite wordless, but we are joining that bloghop anyways, BOL!

  6. Lovely memory pictures for your friends, sympathies to them on the loss of their beautiful pets. And I'm so sorry to learn you've gotten Covid, it always surprises me (still) that it continues to rear its ugly self here and there.
Take care of you, rest and be well soon. Hugs from us, but "virtual" and thus, safe ones.

  10. So sad for the loss of your friends. Hugs to their families. (Doesn't it seem like there've been a lot of crossings in the past few months?)

I sure hope that you feel better soon!

  14. Sorry about the loss of those two precious babies. Alas the link you provided wouldn't allow condolences from us. Please convey our sympathies to the family. It's always rough for the family when a beloved pet earns their wings.

  15. Oh, please give our love and condolences to the family of those lovely kitties, but right now, you mama needs love and hugs from us. We are so, so sorry for her covid attack. And no "darn" here, just a big "MERDE"...excuse our language. Mama hopes for no loss of taste or smell, as that would make mama go nuts. Drink LOTS of water. This mutant is not as strong as the original, we read, so is not as invasive, but boy, is it NOT fun!!! Drink hot lemon water for the cough. Or just hot water to stop a cough. SO SO SORRY.
