Well, the weather in in tease us mode...we had some nice days and Saturday it was sunny and the temp was 65F, believe it or not. Wen petcretary went for her daily stroll, she did not see any emerging spring green things...yet. Though she saw a lot of loud geese and a pair of even louder sandhill cranes, and ducks on the creek, too. And of course the robins are back! She can't wait for the snow drops, the crocuses and the daffs along with the wild violas, which are the first blooms we see around here. (She takes us around later, because we slow her down she says...whatever!)
Well the forecast for today is rain, wind, thunderstorms and a big cooling trend, so that we might even see snow again on Monday. Phooey!
Oh well, we'll just have to take it as it comes cause what else can we do, BOL!
Petcretary said she has been running around like a crazed woman this week...so we are showing off some flashbacks of us from a couple years ago. We cannot remember if you saw them before or not, BOL!

That's to bad to have that cold weather again, sweet furriends. It's furreezing in the night and Summer in the afternoon here..well..as a matter of speaking...MOL...What a great collection of drummers, is there a story behind it, Petcretary? ReplyDeleteWe know all about that return of cold weather. We tied a record this week at 75ºF but snow returned last night along with the Big Chill. I think I like the movie better since I was enjoying discovering early bulbs emerging on our daily walks. Oh well, guess Spring will show up. Eventually. Happy Sunday. Tell your mum to not work so hard, 'kay?

ReplyDeleteMOL!! I thought I was doing well with two I painted myself!! They are wooden ones from an American company called Zim's who, sadly are no longer trading. They made wooden blanks for decorative painting (which I did a bit of).

Wow! That's quite a collection! So colorful! We had a big flock of robins in the back yard yesterday. They were fighting over territory.
