Looking Back Sunday Selfies

Today we are showing some really old pictures of ourselves for our selfies. Petcretary was worn out from working at her job, doing yard work, and making spawsial cards/mementos for several of our furends this week. Some were for happy times like birthdays, and too many were for sadder things. There have been way too many new angels this week and in recent past weeks. Sheesh, can we just have a month or two or more maybe even with none of this angelic stuff? We send purrs and soft woofs to all those furmiluies who now have empty spots at their dens, and holes in their hearts.
Just this past week we heard of Snowie and Humphrey going to the Heavenly Realms of eternal catnip and butterflies, where they now fly strongly with fresh vigor and shiny angel wings. We think they will send lots of angel dust upon their earthly furmilies when they peer through the windows in the clouds to see how they are doing...
We for sure know that petcretary well knows that feeling of loss herself...as we have 4 angel kitties in our furmily. And more in her extended furmily...

Anypaws, here then are our younger selves as selfies, taken when selfies were not really fashionable, MOL/BOL!
These are from 2011 or 2010. Sheesh we were so young back then...and look how dark MJF's furs were, OMD!
By the way, he is eating pretty well, now, but he won't touch the noms he used to love. But he is eating some others, petcretary thinks they may not be quite as good nutritionally, but there are worse foods he could be eating...and at least he *is* eating! Petcretary will have to try and find another joint treat that he will take, because he shuns the ones he used to crunch like they were cookies:) And the same with his senior doggy vitamin...sigh...




















































Those were our memento cards for these recent angels, and there were some she had to make for Catster also.
Catster is in the process of being fixed...but right now its sometimes hard to get in and visit. Good thing a lot of former Catster members and Dogster too, are now blogging like we are:)

    These flashback photos were meowvolous. We love to see photos from before we were blogging. Mom always feels that it is better for us to eat than not, even if what we are having is not as nutritionally beneficial. That's how it was with Fiona. If she would ONLY eat treats, then she got treats. MJF is always in Mom's prayers, and we send POTP. Your cards for our departed friends are gorgeous! Thanks for being hoppers and friends.       I had MJF on a grain free food, but now he's on the same brand getting chicken/turkey and rice. I am mixing it with a venison grainfree food that he seems to like too. He won't touch the one he had previously. Maybe he associates that food with his not feeling good? Who knows?!

      That yard work nevfur seems to ends...now our grass is about 6 feet tall...well, maybe only 6 or so inches...
      Some days when the yard work is not necessary petcretary can be stricken with that disease too.

    Theses are beautiful memorial cards. All of your selfies when you were younger are lovely too.
    I am glad Mr JF is eating better. My mum says she wishes I would eat better quality food too. I used to but have gone right off it now.

    You are so right friends. We need a break from saying till we meet again to our friends. We want to keep them closer here. *Sigh* Love your cards for our friends. And we love seeing you all from back then. We were friends by that time and it is wonderful that you started blogging after Catster. We send the Petcretary purrs of of support as our Dad has to work and it is so difficult to do that, chores and have fun with us at home and with our webby friends. Love you all.

    We always love seeing photo memories! These are great. We hope your Mom is recuperating nicely after her hectic week. It has been a sad one for all of us with the many losses. WE are purring for those whose hearts ache and miss their beloveds.

      She had 5 days off...and it was great! Now soon she will be back on her regular schedule...but pawppy comes home soon after she goes to her work.
      Memory Lane is a pleasant place to keep close in our hearts...though it can be bittersweet at times.

    Your cards are truly lovely. I'm sure they help the grieving families to feel a touch more peace and love. And I agree with you about the losses. They do seem to be piling up these days. All the more reason to hug our babies a little closer.

      Too much sadness too close together...its hard. I make those memento cards exactly for that reason...its a little bit of love across the internet, since I have not evfur met most of the furs we 'play' with in Blogville.
