ChristmasDay ~ Our Cards

Its Christmas!! Merry Christmas to all! May your day be blessed and may you find peace in your hearts, and happiness to last all the way to next Christmas and more.
We at this den try to keep the real and true meaning of this day close in our hearts and minds, as it is the celebration of the birth of our dear Savior, Jesus. The Light of the World and the true bringer of peace and good will to all. May it be so for our friends, wherever you may be.
We send purrs, waggles and hugs too:)

Anypaws, we have received many cards by snail mail...and petcretary somehow hasn't thought to make a collective picture of those...but thank you very much for all of them! We furs here, got way more than the peeps did, MOL/BOL! It seems this is the way it goes each year!!

We also got many cards by email. Thanks also for those! And several Christmas greetings and well wishes with no cards, but it is always good to hear and feel the love from our friends, no matter how:)

So we are going to show you the ecards. These are not in any particular order. There were a few we were not able to download or make screenshots of...sorry. So if we missed displaying yours...once again our apologies...it was not our intention to omit yours...
We'll start with our card to all of you, though most of you have already seen it. If not, feel free to take it! (Sorry we did not provide links to the various senders...)

We hope you all had a most wonderful day...and now that we are so late, it has become Dec 26th...Boxing Day! And it is special in other ways, too...we will post about that later...

Almost Christmas! Sunday Selfies And Our Card For Our Furends

Wow, its the Sunday before Christmas...the eve of Christmas Eve, MOL!
Petcretary has been busy working and fulfilling other obligations that do not have anything to do with us...sheesh. Then...she saw the cutest 7 month old terrier mixed puppy at a local shelter. He was featured in an article in our local 'Shopper News'. A scruffy looking wirey hairy creature, and petcretary had all she could do to not go right there and claim him to be a brofur for me...even pawppy thought he was a sweetie. Howevfur, well, we don't want to upset Pipo with another canine here, and this pup was not yet observed around kitties...so, well, we sure hope he will find a great forever home before Christmas, we know that is his wish, and we can add our woofs, purrs and pawyers to that effect. Maybe after the holidays when petcretary is not working, she can check there to see if he is still there and then have a discussion with pawppy...hmmm...

Still no word on the whereabouts of the stolen goods, nor the apprehension of the thieves. In a nearby city, there have been several such incidents as here, but the perpetrators are not at all matching the description that pawppy had. So another bunch of naughty young men at loose. What is with peeps these days? Grrr and hisses.

It seems we will have a green Christmas here, this week we had lots of dreary wet weather and some sunny days here and there. The temps have been in the low 40's during the day, going back to freezing temps at night, but no snow. We may have a few flakes tonight we are told, but so far have not seen any.

Petcretary is working this weekend, then she has off Christmas Eve, has to work on Christmas and then she will be off until after New Years. She really doesn't mind working on a holiday, though she does regret that she has to abandon the family for a while...but her residents at the nursing home need her a lot more than us:)
She is looking forward to that  nice little vacation, so she can relax and play with us:)
She hopes that the weather will not make her have to do work outside - as in shoveling snow...even with pawppy using the snow thrower machine, the shovel still needs to be used...and trails made into the yard areas for me, Dalton to do my privacy pawlease. BOL!
Oh and some trails made to the bird feeders so we can have bird and varmint TV channels in good working order!

Here are our selfies for this special Sunday, followed by our card which we have sent out via the interweb threads. If you did not get our card that way, feel free to snag it now. (Unfortunately we had to use an online web site with premade templates to make our card this year, since petcretary just has not been able to properly master that photoediting program called gimp...it makes her brain limp! MOL/BOL!) But its kind of pretty and we think it will do just fine! We even resorted to using that site to try and make cards for others since we felt so bad about not being able to do them at all.

Christmastime Is Close ~ Sunday Selfies

Well, we managed to get some pictures on to this loaned confuser, (er, computer...), and so now we can show you some of our Christmastime selfies. Next week we will post our card that petcretary helped us make.
Unfortunately we still can't do much about making cards for our furends from their images...at least not until petcretary can figure out how to get them onto our picture editing program...and when she knows how it works, MOL/BOL! Its called Gimp, (for Linux),  in case any of you tech-heads wish to know to give her any advice! Hah! Even tech-head-unfurbro-the-elder doesn't use it himself...sheesh!

So here we are!

Almost Selfies With SantaPaws

Recently, before the bad stuff happened here, we had gone to see SantaPaws. We asked Pawppy to scan those pictures, and then he sent them to our IPad. So we are using those today as our (sort of) selfies.
The police have not been able thus far to find our stolen items. But we remain hopeful. Unfurbro-the-elder has lent petcretary an unused laptop he had...but she will need to get it up and running before she can make good use of it. It has a different operating system on it than she is used to...so she will have to learn some new things...but that is good, right? Keeps a brain sharp to add new learning into it. MOL/BOL!

Making Do Selfies

We are trying hard to get ourselves back to feeling as normal as we can under the circumstances. Still no word about the whereabouts of the home invaders or the stolen computers.
Petcretary tried to put the images on her camera to the IPad, but so far she hasn’t gotten them to upload, even though we have a camera to IPad lightening cord. Learning new things is hard sometimes, LOL!

All the snow and ice we had pictures of are on that SD card...and including pictures of Dalton. So for now we will post an old one of him in the snow, but he isn’t sporting his new winter gear. Oh well. And Pipo is glad we are not putting a camera in his face right now, MOL! But I did find an old one displaying his thoughts about us not being able to send our cards, let alone make new ones.
Shucks...

So today our post will just be short and we will get on with other things. Like finding receipts and notifications of things we bought that were stolen to send to the insurance dudes...
