We are in for the long haul with winter weather warnings, Yikes! And frigid temps as well, Brrr, we were spoiled at the beginning of winter but now its here, that's for sure. Of course this has to happen on the weekend when Petcretary is supposed to be at her work...so trying to keep the sidewalks and driveway clear, and making paths in our hidden grass for...well, you know...she gets tired out before she even goes to her work!
Pawppy used the snow thrower for three hours on Saturday to clear the walk and driveway...it took petcretary 2 hours to shovel her car out to go to her work...team work....hard teamwork! And now on Sunday we have a temp of 4F and going down....the wind gusts are about 30- 40 mph...to make driving hazardous and slippery...and the visibility is poor in places with white outs.
So what do *we* do when the snow flies and the weather is way too cold for man or beast?
We snooze! BOL!
But sometimes we do need to go out to 'take care of business'...
|
All our little foot patterns from a venture to do 'business'! |
|
I don't like this petcretary... |
|
This weather is not fun at all... |
|
We are ready to go out in this cold winter storm.Maybe with these on we won't feel the current temps of about 4F....Brrr! Not including wind chill! Does this count for dress up your pet Day?? BOL! |
|
Sorry for the poor quality...*she* took me with the phone zoom lens... |
|
After the cold outdoors, a pup needs a nice hot puppochino! |
|
We were so glad to have a sunpuddle even if it was tiny! We did see a wee bit of sun in between the snow squalls on Saturday. |
|
Friday late afternoon....this is the view we have of our neighbor's yard... |
|
Friday mid evening. This snow is heavy and wet. Some peeps made huge snowman! |
|
This past Monday, the 8th, all of our cheerleading paid off.... |
|
Our Michigan Wolverines won the College Football Playoffs National Championship!! |
Last Tuesday at
Teddy's Teaser Class, Petctetary provided the teaser image...and she stumped everyone! She was also a first commenter that day. If you haven't been to his weekly 'geography class' you might want to go and visit, its a lot of fun!
That looks way too cold, wet and icky. Best stop indoors, maybe learn to use a litter us cats ;)
ReplyDeleteLet's hope it stops soon so your staff team can do their work safely.
ERin
That snow looks like no fun! Way too cold! Stay safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteOh WOW! That looks seriously cold! We're supposed to get some snow next week, but probably nothing like you. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Ollie
That must be terrible, having to go out in such weather to "do your business". It's cold and wet here too - no snow, so far, at least, not in Jerusalem - but at least We have our litter boxes, which are indoors.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing your snow in the videos but would not like being out in it. I nearly froze today going to the park with Beau. he did not even think it was cold. 49 F may not be cold to you but to me it is way to cold... wed we will head down to brrrr 40... lots better than your temps. you look handsome zoomed or not zoomed. just sayin! i was watching a you tube vid on using cellphone to zoom and he said at the end, try to never use the zoom on a cell phone, zoom with your feet. step closer to the subject. tell petcretary it muse be true, it was on the internet. ha ha
ReplyDeleteOooooooooooooo! My paws get cold just thinking about that snow and cold.
ReplyDeleteToo bad toy do not have a litter box like we cats do ;)

ReplyDeleteYikes....way too cold for us.
ReplyDeleteThe weather sure is blustery and cold lately. You two look so cute in your coats. We haven't gotten much snow but it's cold and windy here today.
ReplyDeleteDearest Ingrid and fur babies,
ReplyDeleteWow, you really live through some bad winter weather.
Love the photos and that face with the puppochino is priceless!
Great job and keep it up with the clearing of snow.
Big hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
Brrrrr, babies!
ReplyDeleteYep, it's frigid here too...at least there is sunshine.
Yikes! That weather sounds awful. I am cold just looking at the photos. You both look adorable cheering your team on. Your petcretary sure did stump us all on the Teaser. XO
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful selfies you two!!! I hope you all keep plenty warm!
ReplyDeleteStay warm, cuties!!!
ReplyDeleteI hate snow because humans go out to work and play. Everyone stays home in the rain
ReplyDeleteThat is just FAR TOO COLD! Please stay safe. Indoors is best, we think.
ReplyDeleteThere is snow here in Aberdeen this morning, just two inches at best and the temperature is only just below freezing so quite warm really, in comparison!
Toodle-oo!
Nobby (and Gail).
we send you sunny thoughts and we hope all is well with you and the peeps and pets in da snow area.... we hope spring comes soon...
ReplyDeleteOh Boys, you look so cold but cute!!! out there! I'd hate to have to go out to attend to business but...sometimes you have to. You guys look so healthy and happy! You already know you're my favorite woofies. Goodness knows I keep telling you.
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, that is some serious snow all right! Our Dada says he remembers snowblowing back in New York, no matter which direction he was facing, the wind always would blow the snow right back into his face!"
ReplyDeleteLulu: "He's so lucky. I would love to have snow blowing in my face."
Charlee: "That's because you're a weirdo Malamute-Husky mix."
Yikes...and here I thought it was bad here. Can't believe it took 3 hours with a snowblower and 2 hours for your Petcretary to rescue her car. That's just cray-cray-crazy! Stay safe and as warm as you can.
ReplyDeleteThis is so weird. It’s C26 here and all the cats are napping in the shade! Seeing this cold is unbelievable!
ReplyDeleteMarjorie and Toulouse
It's snowing here too, Dalton and Benji and tonight it's going to furreeze again...with all that snow it's getting very slippery. We're glad you have a special outfit to go outside, we could use one now tooπΊπΈDouble Warm Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of youπΎπ½π
ReplyDeleteMy gosh you're havin' a wintry winter. Our temps have been up and down like a yo-yo. After it snows, it rains. Then freezes. Then repeats it all over again. MOUSES!
