Its Easter, Today!

Happy Easter everyone!

Hope you're having a great day.

We, well we mean the peeps went to church to celebrate, it is a very special day for them.

Anyways, petcretary had to go to her work yesterday, and again today, so we'll keep it short...Here we are as bunnies...sheesh! We are supposed to chase them, not be them, BOL!

Earlier this week at Teddy's Teaser Class, Petcretary was the first right guesser, so she got this fun Easter themed badge as her reward.

But now we are kind of a mess here...our fridge of around aged 25 years, gave up its ghost on Friday...and we had to throw away a ton of spoiled stuff from the freezer. And put everything in coolers outside. The corner store a little ways from here will be giving us ice...but we'll have to pay for it, LOL! Of course now that we have to use coolers for a while, the temps outside are going to warm up...its been so cold...why didn't that dang fridge stop working then???

We can't get a new fridge delivered for several days. Yikes! The real problem is that we have a very small space to put it in our kitchen and the dimensions offered are often too large for the fridge to fit in there. sigh...and a lot of them have ice makers, which we do not want/need, and don't have plumbing set up for it either...more sighs. We make ice the old fashioned way, LOL! Another issue is that we have to get a white one, they do not come in 'bisque' anymore, and we for sure do not want a so called fashionable black one, and stainless is not ideal either; our kitchen needs to have light appliances since it can be darkish in there. Always something, but if that is all we have to complain about we are not doing too bad! At least *our* noms are freeze dried, so they don't need to rely on a fridge/freezer.

We aren't real bunnies, but we are hopping along with all the other Selfies at The Cat On My Head

  1. Happy Easter! You both are so, so cute with those 'extra ears'! So sorry to hear that your fridge 'died'. Purrs and hugs!

  2. Happy Easter! You are so right that any self respecting pup should chase a bunny not pretend to be one...
Gail hopes the new fridge arrives soon. She says all American fridges are HUGE compared to the typical ones in British kitchens.
    Toodle-oo!

  3. Happy Hopping Easter you adorable long-eared puppers! [OH, that fridge conundrum ... same thing happened when I was living with family, teeny-tiny space for the fridge, but luckily found a specialty appliance store that dealt in smaller models, but still with newer upgrades, no ice maker, etc., a town away, but they came, measured and found one for them!] ... a bit of a wait, but worth it.

  4. Appliances breaking down always happens at the worst times, not that there is ever a good time for it! I hope you are soon able to get your new fridge.
You both make cute bunnies. Happy Easter to all of you!

  6. Better it went now than in the height of summer. That is a mercy indeed. Hopefully you'll find a fridge and freezer very soon. Lovely selfies this week, and with those ears you sure do blend in with the other bunnies :)

  7. Yes, we agree--way more fun to chase bunnies than to get dressed up like one.
Meowmie lives in an old house with narrow doorways but has a modern (10 y.o.) fridge. Fridges get delivered without the doors on, maybe that will help fit it in. Also you don't have to connect the ice maker--they gurgle all the time--meowmie makes ice the old fashioned way too. Her previous fridge was ancient so she very much enjoys the frost-free freezer feature and having enough space to put everything. Good luck finding the purrfect one.

  9. still smiling at how cute you both look in bunny ears. Looks like SomeBunnies ears slid down around the neck. Happy Easter to all of you.
so sorry about the fridge, we went through the same thing a few years back. we ended up with one that had an icemaker but no way to hook it up that doesn't cost thousands of dollars. 33 years in this house and making ice the old fashioned way. we did get white but that was the year before 2020. why oh why do things happen in the wrong season.

  10. BOY do I EVER know what you mean. I have a Galley type kitchen and the house was built back in the day..there is exactly ONE place for the fridge and no other. Cabinets above, wall on on e side and the stove on the other with a counter too. It's awful fining one of the right size Not much choice. What a time for you-- and it to give up its ghost! And you two, in your Easter finery...big smile here for me and Katie.

  16. Happy Easter. We had the same predicament earlier this year. We ordered one and then found out the delivery men were going to leave it at the end of the driveway. We had to cancel that order and go to Home Depot

  22. Oh, you poor doggies. If you were both really old, we could say "On you, the 'ears look good", haha. I'm not sure the rabbit world would accept you in their circles....so sorry for the fridge and mama makes ice the old way, too. Has those pull up the lever trays that are retro...cost a fortune nowadays, haha.

    1. We use plastic ones, and when you need a cube, you sort of twist the tray and they loosen...or they all jump out onto the floor, LOL! Actually we hardly ever use any ice cubes here...go figure!

Those ears came right off and were packed away after the 'photo session'...and a treat to placate them, LOL!
