This past week has not been too exciting, until we went for a stroll one late afternoon...
|
Mr Springer Spaniel Too busy with this and that to stop for a real selfie, BOL!
|
|
Miss Springer Spaniel
|
|
was listening to petcretary's words....
|
|
About how beautiful she is!
|
|
Doggy Number Three who never left the yard like his brother and sister did!
|
|
We resumed our stroll after the dad of those three called them back to their yard. He was busy with some project and petcretary totally forgot to ask their names and such. Oh well, it sure made for a walk to remember. At least they were friendly and didn't cause us to grump or worse. They were peaceful which fits in with the Blog4Peace!
|
|
|
The house they live in used to have a very small barky and grumpy pup...we would hear him in the house barking at us through the windows. One time he got out...yikes! Before that there was a huge but friendly Airedale mix, named Max....
Last Tuesday at Teddy's Teaser Class, petcretary was first to arrive along with two others. This was her award for that.
|
I was one of THREE First Commenters on the Teaser post of November 1, 2022. All three of us were FAST and FURIOUS! |
|
I also guessed the Teaser of November 1, 2022 correctly BUT I was not FIRST – unfortunately! BUT I WAS RIGHT! |

Many of you know LouLou,
who lives in France with her pawrents. Their Step-granddaughter recently
lost her pal, a hamster named Floss. So petcretary made this memento
for LouLou's Mama to send to Marghe. |
We didn't do a specific post on the 4th, for Peace Blog Day, petcretary was busy with a lot of chores and errands, so we are going to recycle an older one, like a flashback of sorts.
We surely do want peace to reign in our precious world, and we know that petcretary and pawppy do pray for that. May it be sooner than later.
Some of my best friends are Springer Spaniels!
ReplyDeleteToodle-oo!

Those were two nice Springers. I didn't realise how small you both were until seeing you next to them.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your new neighbours are nice and that this was the beginning of a beautiful furriendship!
ReplyDeletethis is great news that you both had a peaceful meeting with stranger dogs and that mom got lots of photos to show us the meeting. happy for the wagging tail.. and for all the beautiful pups in your post today
ReplyDeleteThose were great selfies of your new friends. We're glad they were friendly pups and didn't cause any trouble for you.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "It's always a good policy to come in peace. That way nobody leaves in pieces!"
ReplyDeleteIf we could have a little peace before, during, and after this election; that would be good.
ReplyDeleteA lovely post, with tears dropping for little Floss ... you did well with the no-name-pups, specially since they were much bigger than you!!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww........I love all the beautiful doggy faces on this post! Glad the dog visitors were peaceful!
ReplyDeleteThat was one exciting meeting, huh, Dalton and Benji. It's great to see that you and the dogs with no name, approached each other so furriendly💗That's another thing what Peace is all about☮ Double Pawkisses especially for the both of you🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to make new friends. Great peace globes.
ReplyDeleteYou are re-cycling perfection and we love it!! I'm feeling the flashback of peace. Your peace globes are so beautiful and the vibe is strong. Thank you for joining us today. Peace to you and yours ~ Mimi
ReplyDeleteBenji and Dalton! WOw! You guys were so good with the neighbors. Cinnamon is fear agressive and barks like mad when other dogs get close. Mom says it is embarassing. We love the guest Mr and Ms Springer selfies! And their Brother looks like a cool mix. Concats to your Mom! She is so great at getting to the Teaser early and then she is an incredible guesser! And we lover your Peace Globes! They are purrfect! Keep on being Awesome! Purrs Marv
ReplyDeleteIt's always a bit tense making new friends, but I've never met a Springer I didn't like. ❤
ReplyDeleteI read the blog written by the dog you just met, and he said meeting you was the most exciting thing to happen to him in years.
ReplyDeleteI met a really nice doodle last week - they even laid down to make themselves smaller than me! Most the dogs around here aren't too friendly, but I like this one.
ReplyDeletewe would love to meet you when we are outside... what fun we had.. and what fabulous things we could do :O)
ReplyDeleteIts nice to meet other kind animals--hope you get to be friends. Concats to the Mom on her Tuesday Teaser award. And we will purrayer for peace too.
ReplyDeletexoxoxo, Bibi & Meep
Every now and then Peepers meets up with a doggy or kitty while walkin'. I never do. Of course, I never go for walks, either. Glad you met some new friends who were nice. purrs
ReplyDeleteWell done both of you on being polite and well done to Mum on her success.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Floss, who looks a sweetheart.
Wow! There's a lot going on at your house! It was nice to meet those two beautiful spaniels. We hardly ever see spaniels of any kind around here anymore. I think people don't want the chore (or the cost) of grooming them. Hope you have a nice day! (I got called into work. Blah!)
