This big yellowish moth was on a rather dirty part of our siding a few days ago...it was quite large. I think is is a female Imperial Moth, or perhaps a Lace Border Moth. It left before telling me his/her name, LOL!
Does anyone else have any idea who this moth might be?? First time I have seen one.
Since it was All American Pet Photo Day, the other day, and since *she* has not had much time to make pics/selfies of us three, (hence the guest...), we agreed to let our Angels MrJackFreckles and Minko do a flashback of some of petcretary's fave pics of them...being all American!
Even when serious, MJF was a cutie! |
Minko was quite the 'poser'... |
That must have been some joke! |
(Flashback), Pipo says he is all American too:) |
If you're done with all the yard art chores, can we go for a walk now?? |

This has been a very sad time for a well known and loved blogging family.
Caren from (Cat Chat and Dakota's Den), and her husband Lenny, had to say goodbye, till we meet again, to their beloved Dakota...less than 2 weeks after Cody had to go to the RB.
Their grief and emptiness must be unbearable, unthinkable to loose both your beloved furbabies in short order.
We extend our sincere sympathy to them at this difficult time.
(Caren also has a FB page, Here.)
We made some memento cards for them...
Dakota |
Dakota and Cody, Together Forever. |
This was the card we had sent to them earlier for Cody. |
You can join the Sunday Selfies blog hop by clicking this caption; the hosts are The Kitties Blue who kindly host this fun feature each week...Thanks so much, we love it! |
Awww! We love see your flashbacks, and the happy smiling celebratory faces of our friends. What a large moth, and sadly no idea what it is, only that I notseen it here in Much-Mousing, or our wardrobes, MOL

Great flashbacks and great pic Dalton and Benji!
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad about Dakota and Cody.
These are lovely flashbacks.
ReplyDeleteSo very sad about Angel Dakota!
ReplyDeleteYour pics are delicious!
My best guess: a brimstone moth. I Googled Yellow Moths and Gold Moths, and switched back and forth between images. But heck, it's a beautiful moth!
All the mesmerizing blue and brown eyes looking at me - I'm melting. It looks like all your babies have loved to be photographed. Such touching pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad to read about Dakota, although I knew it was a possible outcome. To lose both your dearly loved 4 leggers in such a short time... Thank you for making the badges. I've copied the one of both and will replace what is currently on my side bar of them with it.
Beautiful pics of your beautiful furs! So sad about Dakota and Cody, thank you for the post.

My hubby looked it up in his book and it looks like a Crocus Geometer , also called a Cranberry Looper.
ReplyDeleteI love all these photos. So nice to see your angels. XO
Wow, you are right! Thanks for the info! I did not see this species when I 'hunted' for a similar image. I guess my search results were not so good, MOL!

We loved all your flash back pictures and the recent one too. That sure is a different kind of moth. It's so sad to hear about Dakota and Cody going to the Bridge so close together.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of you all. That is one big moth! We’ve never seen one like that before.
ReplyDeleteWe had a moth exactly like that visit our house several years ago! We still don't know what kind it is, but it sure was pretty. It was nice to see pictures of MJF and Minko again! We often think about our angels Miss Ginger and Joey dog in July because that's the month they crossed the bridge in 2010 and 2016. You never forget your angels!
ReplyDeleteWe love the pictures and also the beautiful badges you made for Caren of her beloved furries. Yeah, it was a very sad time when we heard about Dakota's passing too😿Pawkisses for a wonderful weekend to all of you🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteOMC! All those great pictures... A bloo-eyed overload!
