Petcretary has been really busy with her work, (Several of the little old peeps she helps to care for have passed away and some are getting ready to make that journey...); taking her car to the body shop, (For a fix of an embarrassing moment...sigh...), (Hey maybe her van should have done a before and after selfie, MOL/BOL!); chores in the yard and many other things that take her away from us and visiting our blogging furends.
So if you have been missing us, realize that we would love to be visiting and mewing or woofing in your posts...but the days are not long enough!
Petcretary has been known to spend an evening reading through one blogger's posts and even commenting on most of those...but now she is so far behind, that she will just pick up where she is in the present time. She may make a brief perusal of your posts to make sure she didn't let us miss really impawrtant things, but , well...we think you will understand.
We love and miss you all! Maybe by Christmas we will get caught up...but wait, then we will be way busy with all of that! MOL/BOL!
So this week, we will show you a few of the guest selfies that were made in the Meijer Gardens a while back. Good thing, because petcretary did not once use her camera this past week.
Somehow she did find/make time to make some cards for others...which of course takes us away from you all, too...but that is OK, we know you like to get them when you have days that are special.
At the bottom of these waterfalls in the quieter pools, and other similar watery features, these amphibians showed themselves for you all to enjoy...or not! MOL/BOL!
Later petcretary and her friends strolled by the wetlands and these turtles obliged for the camera, too:)

(Shut your eyes, OK, Tabbies?!) |
|
Turtle has a garland... |
|
It doesn't seem to bother him/her... |
|
Turtle Selfie! |
|
Its my seaweed garland, and I like it, OK?! |
|
Maybe I should put this piece of vegetation on me for a garland fashion statement too... |
|
We think we need to see a bright spot from the wetlands, too! |
Here are the cards we helped petcretary make this week:
It is hard keeping up with all the blogs! You just do what you can.
ReplyDeleteoh that was a magic place you visited... frog princes, turtle kings and even PINK waterlilies...we have only white or yellow ones... many thanks for the cute card, my birthday was da hoot... the mama was so eggs-hausted that she slept like a log last night...
ReplyDeleteIts OK fer you guys to relax and wait for Petcretary to catch up with life...
ReplyDeleteWow, fabulous fotos from your petcretary. The mom really needs to visit the Meijer Gardens. We hope the petcretary’s schedule slows down for her.
ReplyDeleteThose are some pawsome photos!
ReplyDeleteWe loved seeing all the pictures of the frogs and turtles! We've been falling behind on our blogging too, but we'll try to catch up soon.
ReplyDeleteGhostwriter says seven of her little old people have passed away in the last couple months. It's been very tough on the staff who have taken such good care of them for so long: very sad times.
We have had a White Dumpy Tree Frog hanging around usually on the white vinyl fence probably some kid had it as a pet and released it into the wild as when Lee goes close it wants to jump on her. We feel sorry for the poor thing. We have a word for people who buy wild things and keep them for awhile then turn them out thinking they can take care of themselves but we keep that word inside. We like your photos.
