Selfies On Tuesday With Guests

Oh, MY! Petcretary was so busy cleaning snow and working over the past few days, that we are now doing our selfie post on Tuesday! MOL/BOL! She took pictures but not so much of us as of the big full moon that got all covered up. She got home from work in time to see it...but um...the temp outside was not conducive to standing around trying to take pictures with a diddly Zoom lens on her Point & Shoot camera...but she tried! Until her fingers and toes were frozen...despite gloves and boots. The temp was -13F. (-25C)...at least the wind had died down somewhat. Today even though it was MLK Day, and many schools were not in session, some that were were cancelled due to the wind chills.
On Saturday, we had a good 6 inches of snow, maybe more...so not the biggest snowfall ever, but enough to cause trouble on the roads.
Dalton is now in his second winter here, but this is the first winter ever for Benji. He is NOT impressed at all, BOL! Today we went for a walk when the temp had warmed up a bit above zero, so the pups had on two sweaters, covered by a heavier coat. They looked like the little guy in the Christmas Story movie who couldn't move on account of being so bundled up! BOL!
And to make the snow and cold seem even more not fun, Auntie (Eddie's Mom), sent a nice picture of the warm Caribbean beach she is at this week...sigh...
At least the sun has been out both yesterday and today. Pipo loves him a sun puddle even in the winter!

We three will return next time with our own selfies...this week we are showing off the moon and some others...

Lunar eclipses are interesting, but though this one was considered extra special, petcretary didn't think it looked any redder than others she has seen. Oh well...So the 'Man in the Moon' did a guest selfie, Oh, MY!!

Eddie is gong to be another guest here this week: He outdid himself in the shredding department! Imagine if we had been there to help him, BOL!!

This dude loves to steal as many seeds as he can before he is thwarted by Dalton...Benji has still to 'learn' all about these critters...

We helped make some cards, too:
We heard belatedly that Avalon celebrated her Birthday
Ayla & Iza had their Gotcha Day
Clyde catabrated becoming 19!
Valentine had a Gotcha Day
Marley has his Gotcha Day, *today*!!

We are joining The Kitties Blue with our guest selfies.

  1. You did great job with those pictures of the moon (way better than us who got no pictures MOL), especially in the minus temperatures and snow you had! We got to see it too, though I think it was only 0c , and then cloud came in before the big moment and it was gone for another two years.
Hopes you get Benji gets up to speed on them pesky squirrel guys, as they are too much of a nuisance to ignore; he can come here and train if he wants?

  2. oooh la luna.... that are wonderful photos... we couldn't see it but we acted lunatic that night LOL

  3. Eddie looks very proud of his work!

  4. Hey Eddie, I'd luv to come help shred!
We saw da moon here too - it wuz really pretty!

  5. My ghostwriter was supposed to have this weekend off. She was glad because of the snow storm. But they called her in at the last minute to work from 11pm to 3am Sunday night! She saw the moon that night, but didn't get to see the eclipse. Your moon photos are very nice, and appreciated. We got over a foot of light and fluffy snow. I don't mind going out in the freezing cold to do my business, or to bark at the squirrels, but I don't stay out for very long. Stay warm, everyone!

  6. Oooh, moon photos! We were too tired to stay awake to watch (and it was too too cold also!) so thank you for sharing!

  7. Moon photos! so furry impressive! Didn't know such detail could show up from a regular old camera-wowzer! We had the furreezing temps and wind making the feel-like temp below zero. Lots of cooking and shoveling of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Ah winter! Purrs, Bibi & Meep

  8. That moon sure is cool and so is that fancy shredding! I don't like snow either Benji, it's too cold and wet!

  11. The Moon pictures were great. And so are all those graphics the Petcretary created!

  12. Hey Eddie we could use some of your shredding skills at our office. We love the beautiful shots of the moon that you took. Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos. Have a great weekend.

    1. Thanks! Do you have a blog, I couldn't find one to visit, nor any link in the selfie link-ups?

  13. What GREAT Moon shots! Mom's were terrible. But we did get to see it (that does not happen often in the winter in Vancouver). And Ninja and I got to sit in the catio while Mom watched the eclipse, Eddy id a great job on the shredding. We could use himaround here, Mom needs some old tax papers shredded.
