Double treats today, its selfie Sunday...and...its Canada Day. Canada celebrates its 151st birthday today! Happy Birthday Canada! Petcretary rarely gets to celebrate in Canada these days, sometimes she might be there with her sisfer, but that was a long time ago, when she would bring our unfurbros there too. So now she hangs out the Canadian Flag, and sometimes wears clothes with Canadian logos on them...howevfur, since its Sunday and she will be going to church, she will just wear her regular Sunday clothes, MOL!!
Once again we made some cards for others:
Once again, sadly we had to make a memorial/memento picture for one of our good furends...
Next time we will show you our Fourth Of July selfies, the Independence Day ones...because we reserved today for all things Canadian, MOL/BOL!!

ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great time on Canada Day! Ghostwriter had to work that weekend, but is off for a couple days now. She says she remembers riding her bike across the Rainbow Bridge (no, not the one we pups and kitties all cross eventually) to visit Niagara Falls, Ontario and see all the beautiful flowers there in summer.
ReplyDeletePetcretary, her sister and various cousins have done that a few times, but they just walked across. The cousins were from the Netherlands and they thought it was cool to be able to go and visit the USA too. So we could see The Falls from both sides on the same day...and yes they are more spectacular on the Canadian side:)
DeletePetcretary loved the much less commercialized atmosphere on the US side, it was like a huge park. Hardly any peeps or crowds and very pleasant!
Happy Canada Day! My pawrents were borned in Detroit and enjoyed Canada right next door. Canada is so beautiful and friendly. So happy to meet yoo! Purrs, Dori
