Yes, here we are once again. Hooray!
We had to go to doggy Jail for 87 million days when Petcretary went AWOL to go and take care of our Auntie, who had a knee replacement on Sept 19th...(She is doing well, by the way, and petcretary came home again after she knew that Auntie would be okay on her own, once again.)
While she was there on Sept 24th, petcretary and Auntie became Great Aunts to a sweet little lamb of a baby boy! And our uncle became a grandpa! Petcretary says that makes her feel old, BOL!!
The day after her return she came and sprung us out of doggy jail....thank dogness! The peeps there told us that we did well, even for so many days.
We did miss some special days on the blogville calendar, but ah, well, it's all good cause everyone is fine and at home again!
So now things are back to normal, more or less...
While there were no dogs to deal with, here, a good friend came and did a LOT of work in our woodsy area and cleaned up a lot of the tree mess; (from the May storm), and the neighbor cut the remaining tree trunks off of the fence, so that now the fence repair can be done. It sure looks a lot better back there, but there are still huge trunks on the ground to be cut up...though none are hanging in other trees, anymore, so no danger of them falling on us or anything else. There are a lot of piles of brush and small limbs to burn...but not yet, as it is far too dry right now...they'll have to wait till we get some rain for the safety of the rest of the standing trees and grounds. (It hasn't rained here since before petcretary left!)
We also saw that there is a new lawn mower here, and it does a great job keeping the grass trimmed...but there is hardly any growth to cut right now due to the lack of rain. It may be fall, according to the calendar, but the weather is more like August, hot during the day, and cooler at night so that the windows are open for fresh air and 'whiffies'.
We were so glad to be home...and we were exhausted, so that the first couple of nights back here we just plopped down in our nests and slept like logs for hours and hours!
Another thing that makes petcretary feel elderly (LOL) is that our unfurbro-the-elder became 35 years old this past week! Wow, how time does fly!
Petcretary was cheating on us while she was at our Auntie...with our doggy cousin, Eddie.

| Eddie is such a ham! |
Of course you all want to see us, too, right?! So here we are, enjoying a snack:
 |
We got new 'chewies'!
|
 |
| Which we love! |
 |
| I was all into mine... |
 |
| Dalton was a bit more 'delicate', BOL! |
 |
| Dalton was very needy for cuddles....from pawppy... |
 |
| Benji: Please don't leave us like that, no, not ever again! And why isn't there a treat in *this* bone? |
Sadly, while petcretary was out of the loop so to speak, there were several new Angel furries...so here are the mementoes that were done for them in their honor. (in no particular order...)
