Long Weekend Sunday Selfies With Guests!

Its a long weekend, Labor Day! That will be tomorrow...and petcretary is off, Hooray! But, she had to work yesterday, and she is working today, too... She says she has to work to afford the noms  we eat, BOL/MOL!!
But its worth it:)
We made some simple selfies for you this week...
There is lots of action outside my big window.

I sure wonder what it might be like to be out there on the prowl?!

Yes, I sure do...
Excuse me petcretary? You need a selfie? Whatevfur...

Now I'll go back to musing all about the things I could be doing out there in the yard.
Dalton was outside for his selfies.
Hi there!

Do you need me for something?

Oh a selfie? But wait...
There is something terribly interesting here.

I tried to taste it...but it was quite blech!

This hornworm better not try to eat petcretary's tomatoes...and it even was clefur enough to take a selfie! BOL!
BOL, I will take my selfie now...

Maybe there might be more stuff to sniff out by the fence.

Like this neato Dragonfly!
Dahlias can take selfies? Oh MY!!

We helped petcretary make cards...
Parsley, who is Basil's brofur, had a birthday on Aug 31st.

This selfie Sunday blog is dedicated to the memory of Siddhartha Henry-Heintje, a well loved kitty and he loved to make selfies each week.
All of us here in the land of Blogville were saddened to learn that one of our dear furends received angel wings, and went to live in PureSummerland.
Purrince Siddhartha was having severe health issues, and even though he was only 4 years old, he was not able to deal with his declining health...so he graduated to the Heavenly Realms, and now is healthy, strong and forever young.
We send huge hugs and much love to his LadyMom, SherriEllen. You can visit in his blog, if you have not had a chance yet.
We couldn't decide how to portray Siddhartha, so we made three memento-memorial cards...

We are hopping with our Selfies, along with Kitties Blue and many others.

  9. Oh those are such heartfelt loving cards you made about our furr-iend Purrince Siddhartha. I can't believe he is gone! It seems like just yesterday that he and I just met.

You sure have purr-ty markings and your eyes remind me of the sky. Maybe one of these days you and I will get to visit the grr-eat outdoors like the doggies at our households do. For now, I guess we'll just have to keep watchin' birdie TV. Hugs. -Valentine (& Mom) of Noir Kitty Mews

  11. Those big fat worms Lee remembers them well for one of her jobs on her grandmother's farm was to pull them off the rows and rows of tomato plants. They are like a little octopus with suction on their feet that don't like to let go and they hide on the underside of leaves. We think they were the original green slime. We had a large Praying Mantis attached itself to the antenna on our car and it stayed there for the entire six mile ride. Did you know The closest relatives of mantises are the termites and cockroaches yuk. Well that is your knowledge lesson for today. Your selfies are terrific.

  13. What a BEUTIFUL card for Purrince Siddhartha! We LOVE it!
Alas we just found our Birthday Card for Dalton in Mom's sent folder. We had it set up to send on his birthday and Mom was cleaning up her email today and fond it...she spelled your email address wrongly. We LOVE your cards and you make such lovely ones for everyone, we wanted to make sure you got a lovely one from us. Send us Pippo's Birthday and we will try to make sure it comes on time (Especially now that we have fixed your email address)
